Those who enjoy PvP are not in a positiion to dictate to those who don't enjoy PvP how often they should accept being attacked / destroyed by other players. We're back to lightning strikes again I see.

lol...it's the FIRST PAGE description of the game.Ah salesman's hype.
What proportion of soloists do you think give a rat's behind about MMOs?
Which is a huge investment....Casually, it takes a few months.
Do you own a carrier?Go to Jameson Cobra. Relog, relog, relog, kill an explorer, relog...
Yep riveting gameplay!![]()
In comparison to other MMO's, it isn't.Which is a huge investment.
Nope just normal day in Shinrarta
You can always wing up with a few others and go show those "ne'r do wells," what time it is.Nope just normal day in ShinrartaLast time I visited there it was high sec system....with a lot of never do wells loitering in system.
What does a SP or solo player care for other MMOs?In comparison to other MMO's, it isn't.
Why would / should players engage in something they don't want to engage in?You can always wing up with a few others and go show those ne'r do wells what time it is.
I would expect system security to deal with riff raff. Which it SHOULD do, but does not. Even GTA's cops are better than Elite's.You can always wing up with a few others and go show those ne'r do wells what time it is.
ED is an MMO. The time investment is on par with other MMO's.What does a SP or solo player care for other MMOs?
I'm not the one complaining about "ne'r do wells."Why would / should players engage in something they don't want to engage in?
I don't have alot of experience with other MMO-type games, mainly because I don't like other people in my games. But a few months ago I started playing Fallout 76, because... you know. Fallout. And it was on sale for ten bucks. And what do you know, I didn't have to "grind" or "invest" in that "MMO" either. Because I just went along with the story, casually, and didn't participate in the measuring contest with the other players. As far as the PVE content went, it was well balanced and I didn't have to grind to play the game. So...In comparison to other MMO's, it isn't.
.... and chasing them down is rewarding them with PvP for their actions.I'm not the one complaining about "ne'r do wells."
You make PVP sound as if it's a bad thing..... and chasing them down is rewarding them with PvP for their actions.
ED is a role-play game with a multiplayer option.ED is an MMO.
It depends on the motives of the player initiating the attack - and some of them are less fun to play among than NPCs.You make PVP sound as if it's a bad thing.
It's advertised as the "Definitive Massive Multiplayer Space Epic."ED is a role-play game with a multiplayer option.
