Ugh, gotten to the point where I have to stay in the badlands/unscoopable area on economic mode for an extended period of time in order to continue my trip... Well at least it acts as a "safety" net now that the stellar density is starting to get very low (the badlands has a stellar density that's about the same as in the bubble)... Seems like the badlands is ending a couple of hundred ly ahead though, welp, goodbye safety net. :S
The log for today will be a bit delayed, but just to keep it short, my Imperal Eagle has now finally arrived at Beagle Point, 65,279 Ly from Sol![]()
While I'm at it, I may as well post the route I used to get past the 65,000 Ly line without using FSD boosts, so anyone who's trying to reach 65k Ly in a sub-25 Ly ship can take a look at that

Quick summary of Day 36:
- Screenshotted every planet in the Beagle Point system, since I most likely won't come back to this system again, at least not for a long time.
- Started to make my way towards max distance from Sol after a week break from the game.
- Found a system claimed by CMDR Kamzel, CMDR Akira Masakari, and a few others.
- Nearly crashed into a high metal content planet from 500 Ls away. Aimed in to scan, set throttle to 25%, and went to get something to eat. When I got back, the planet was 10 Mm to the left of me... That could've gone bad... Note to self, never leave the PC while ship is flying at speed towards something, despite the chance of hitting it being very low.
- Used my first premium boost, and did my longest ever jump with it (both for this ship and overall), 42.60 Ly.
- Eventually arrived at Iorant UQ-C c26-0, 65,372.43 Ly from Sol, my absolute furthest distance reached in my Imperial Eagle.
- 1000 hours total gametime reached while in the system mentioned above. (great way to celebrate!)
- Had to go do some other stuff after arriving there, so I didn't get to travel as much as I planned to today...
Statistics for Day 36:

Log #38, 2nd March 3302
Well, this day has been a bit up and down... Started the day with a great meetup with the Sidey maniac CMDR Frawd Digger, past the 65k Ly line, on the. Had a nice chat, took some screenshots and 2 videos, before he eventually had to go, and I started setting sail direction home.
An hour later however, I managed to do an emergency drop by accident (I pressed the FSD toggle button ONCE and it dropped me without warning, even though you have to press it TWICE for it to drop you...) in the Iorant NJ-Q b32-0 system. Hull down to 99%, and modules are around 96-97%, except thrusters that are down to 92%. Depending on the actual severity of the damage (module malfunction), I may or may not meet up with the Distant Worlds fleet later. (Is 92% health on the thrusters enough to start causing thruster malfunction? And if it does malfunction in supercruise, will it cause an instant emergency drop?)
