Tobii Head Tracking Stopped working

Hey all, ran into an issue with my Tobii 4c. I used to be able to use both the head and gaze tracking together, but today after doing an Nvidia graphics driver update the head tracking portion quit working entirely. The gaze tracking works just fine and I've been using this for years without issue. I've tried toggling the head tracking in Game Hub and it still does not pick it up. I've restarted my PC a few times and reinstalled Game Hub. I have no idea what is going on, so I was just wondering if others here also had the same issue and could share tips on how to fix it.

Windows 10
Game Hub 2.4.2
Tobii Software 2.16.8
Geforce Driver 471.96

If you have not recently checked their have been two major updates to Tobii software. I am not in front of my computer to verify the version, but my machine also had an update in windows on top of the Tobii software updates. I am having an issue, but not with tracking in game, mine is with windows hello using it for login.

This seemed to start before I tried updating the tobii software. I updated it to try to fix the problem.

As it occurred after an nvidia driver update I would do that again using its clean install option just in case...……………….
I would also check your bindings error log for an entry on the date your trouble started as it may have messed with your headlook setting

This happened to me. It's recommended by Tobii to try out the beta of their "Tobii Experience" software instead. You have to uninstall the Tobii eye tracker (not game hub) and install the new software. You lose some features of Windows eye tracking (I never used those anyway). This restored head tracking for me. In fact, it's slightly better than the original software and I haven't had any USB disconnects with it either.

Downside, I think they're gathering more data. The T&C's seemed to say as much.

Thank you so much! This completely fixed my issue, and it seems it's better able to track my head when I'm looking way up.

I find it super coincidental that there was a Tobii core software update on the 25th of August, the beta released on the 31st and the head tracking stopped for me and a lot of others from what I've read shortly thereafter.

I don't normally go full tinfoil but the timing is curious to say the least. 🤣
