You need to use other image site to post in the forum, try imgur!! upload the image, and just paste the bb code in the post.

Sorry, it just seems that it's impossible for me to post attached images here.

Tried PNGs and JPEGs of various sizes ranging from 200KB - 4MB and it just won't work.

Oh well...

you need an external image site to upload your png with quality and generate a link to paste in the forum, try imgur it´s free and works well. I edited my first reply with your decal!

Oh, I wish there was some way of doing custom decals and paintjobs and having them exist in-game. Even a system where some set number of people have to "preorder" the decal/paintjob before it is reviewed for being appropriate and included in-game would be awesome. Larger player groups could easily get their own paints and decals into the game and FDev would probably sell a lot of those ...

Exactly. Good thing the squadron I am in has our own decal in game, but I think we are the only ones. :/

Have you considered doing one from the other side for the thargoids to put on their ships?
something along the lines of "we will protect our territories from the human scourge".

It would totally be awesome, not sure how practical it is but damn it would be amazing.

Oh we can certainly dream and hope.

I'll consider doing that, absolutely.

I mean, they would have to release the design tools for making paintjobs and decals and open up a system for submissions and pre-purchases on the ARX store ...
I'm not a developer, I don't know how much work that would include, but considering it would be directly connected to a possible revenue stream ...

No ARX money for FD... Enthusiastic artists would create many better decals than what we see in the game...

You misunderstand the proposed strategy here. The idea would be to have people being able to create their own decals and paintjobs that FDev would sell on the ARX store. If you want to promote the creators, a small amount of the ARX could be given to the creator every time someone buys the paint/decal. Of course, the artists would have to relinquish their rights to the art to FDev in the process. I do believe several would still be willing to do that to get their own paints and decals in game.
