General / Off-Topic Tonight I will mostly?

Be watching Spinal tap. a film I haven't watched in over 17 years,

Turn it up loud! I don't need to tell you how loud. ;)

I'm working my way through Battlestar Galactica... watched series 1 when it was first out and gave up, but kind of thought I'd watch the rest.

Looking after The Boy... well it's what I've mostly been doing the wife went off for an early night and he didn't want to sleep. Until now...

trying to learn some Muse on Rocksmith :)

Oooh I love Rocksmith! I started as a complete beginner a couple of months ago, and am having a great time learning guitar.

I am a lefty, and spent a long time with the strings "upside! down", making chords and arpeggios a real pain. I finally plucked up courage to restring my guitar the right way up a couple of weeks ago, and have to relearn everything (but loads of stuff is much easier now :D)

Tonight I have been mostly cleaning my flat (very dull, but I have an inspection on Monday!)

Yup Rocksmith is great fun! I've been playing bass for over 20 years, still finding the game interesting and learning ways around all my bad habits :)

The multiplayer is awesome - me and the GF rocking through tunes on guitar and bass, two basses, or me making a fool of myself on guitar - all a great laugh.

I'll be listening to a couple of episodes of an old BBC radio drama I picked up in a charity shop. 'Aliens in the Mind' with Peter Cushing, Vincent Price, and Richard Hurndall - based on a story by Robert Holmes. Three Doctor Who connections plus Vincent Price couldn't be ignored.

I will be putting together a 800 piece LEGO 75109.
4 hours. loved doing this.

Little bit of ED maybe.
Bottle of Hardy's Crest (fizzy).
Battlestar Galactica S4 (got to finish now I started although the whole show has a very muddled plot and the religious claptrap is most irritating).
Contact BT about my new 75mbps Infinity going down as low as 5 or 6mbps at busy times (contention is one thing, that's one third of the speed my normal broadband was at busy times)
Discuss/argue/whine on these forums.

:)

I'm going to start buying basic Lego bricks and building full size models of things ... I don't know what yet.

I want to build a full size Cobra MkIII ... in Lego ... but it'd never fit in my flat :(

Tonight I will be mostly going down the pub and having a few pints with friends, while the kids cajole me into buying them crisps and J20s. before going home and trying not to give in and order a takeaway. :D

You should check with Michael Brookes about how to get you jump drive to work. You might also consider using Lego blocks made from single grain alloys for your rocket nozzles. It will get a little hot around there.
