1. The Inner Workings of the Cobra Engine - how objects are hand-placed, how missions are constructed.

2. How the Commander Chronicles videos are composed.

3. The Lunchroom at the office.

I think that if they did number 3 i would be able to get behind it much more. It would be really engaging to see it done by people who really understand it and im sure it would be a learning experience for everybody.

Here's one:

Have an FDev employee attempt to pirate a single NPC trader on stream.

While it is doable - you need Ion Disruption mines, which are easy to get - it's on a scale from extremely punishing to excruciating pain. You have to hit an NPC's drives until they're at or near single-digit percentage and then hit them with a mine - without being caught in the blast radius, which reboots your drives. You then hit the drives and destroy them while the NPC is standing still. You get no points for doing it in Anarchy and you get negative points if you destroy the drives without the NPC being in a standstill due to the mines.

If an FDev employee manages to do that without dying to police, in a low security system (4.5 minutes until police response), I will eat a sock.

What if you just pepper them with Hatchbreakers while using collectors to clean up the mess and don't actually shoot them at all?

I ask, because I've been there, done that, gotten bored of it and moved on to better and more profitable pursuits.

I want to see you do that with 2 Point Defenses on the victim ship, as well as with police on your . Being able to shield-tank a million ships isn't something that should be a requirement. That's red flag number one that something is off.

I get what you're going for, but...

Pick your favorite should all be easy tasks
1. Unlocking Guardian FSD Booster, Guardian Fighter and Guardian Shield reenforcement. No reloging envolved.
Easy.
2. Unlock Selana Jean with the new Mining tools and Uprgage their Hull to grade 5
Easy
3. Flying from Bubble to Colonia Scanning every System with the new Scanner
On what planet should this be "easy"? Even under the old system, I'd rather gouge my own eyes out... but to look at this pragmatically, based on what I've been reaping for full-system scans including planetary bodies, doing that you'd average out to around 1.6b credits. If you think that should be "easy"... i think you need to revisit your expectations.

4. Fighting 2 rounds in a Community Goal Combat Zone in a wing of 4 (winging up before they enter and getting no bounty cause that ain´t not possible in a Combat zone)
Easy. I see the bug reports, but I did this the other day. Misread this one. But you can work around it without effort.

5. Reading out the most Urgent Bug reports and telling how and when the wanna fix it or why they won´t wanna fix it, don´t using the word soon.
*shrug*. There's too much noise and what the community seems to think is "urgent" is pretty weak tbh. I saw a bugreport with a lot of mouthfrothing about pips resetting when you get into an SRV and back into your ship.

Because pressing arrow keys a couple times is gamebreaking....

On an aside, what I'd "like to see" is FD do a mining mission.

AKA cut the tonnage down to =~ 10t for an individual mission, =~40t for a wing mission already.

One could Image Alex has already flown from the bubble to Colonia and fully DSSed every system on the way himself, to say it is easy

Actually I would like to see (1) at the moment we can observe this - we have surface knowledge., from a BGS point of view looking at the next layer would be very interesting to me.
The other (2) not so much from me.

OP (5) are just click-bait. If the OP had used a title "Boring things in game FDev should show on stream", I would have avoided thread. The fact they have already done a livestream covering (1) mechanics just moves from "funny sarcasm" to OP is ck.
