Top PMF galactic map

HI Mangal Oemie,
the map presents a visualization problem regarding the DaVinci Corp. Our territories are the gray quadrilateral, on the left, in the middle zone of the map, adjacent to those of the Guardians of Harmony.
The first map you had published was correct.
Another suggestion: do you want to highlight the territory of local alliances, such as the Pegasi Sector Commonwealth?
The following PFM are members:
- Beasts of Bestia
- Black Omega
- Cavalry Command of Yuma
- DaVinci Corp
- Muro Independents
- Tethys Empire Crew
- TGNO Corp
- The Forgotten
- Xukong Nexus

Hi Frigna, it's a bit of a known issue.... The area is drawn correctly, but I am using a function to find the "centroid" of the area by feeding in the coordinates of the systems for label placement, but ... it doesn't really work very well, which means the labels drift about a little bit.
I looked at that code section multiple times but don't really know how to fix it. It'll be "roughly right", but is certainly not perfect, and I don't even understand why it "drifts" when the systems themselves don't even change... I may look at it again, but hopefully it's a minor issue and in a few days, there'll be another map

But is there any reliable means of tracking these groups? I'm in one and even I can't always find out what we're up to.
That's a fair point, and I agree. My computer doesn't like it, and debugging/refining is hell as it take about a minute or so to process 60,000 factions through 20,000 systems, but here you go.

Awesomely done! Personally I wish player minor factions were not a thing but I am probably in the minority of opinion.
Way easier to identify yourself with something that was created for your personal purpose. Still doesn't give you a direct tie to the runnings of a (P)MF but it's quite the psychological boon.
Also great as a rallying point to get your group members doing stuff instead of spread out all over the galaxy.
I personally would have stopped playing by now if not for my PMF. I love it.
The main problem I have with it is just that, it doesn't really give you any control and it tends to cause people to dive into private groups. I've been battling a large player faction for a while, but haven't seen a single person. The general consensus is that the artificial injection of a ton of player minor factions is what largely killed Colonia.
Hey Threeofseven, I have not been keeping up with the whole colonia thing, never been there, please explain?
The map is nice, theres a small area just below the UGC, seems to be blank in all the maps shown, it belongs to PEC controlled by ECL, or in longer form PMF is Empire Consulate Ltd. and the supported Faction is Peraesii Empire Counsulate, currently 15 systems.
It went that way because I played the BGS for over a year before I finally got a PMF and I really didn't want to do it all over again. At that time even just 9 systems to redo is a lot of work, so I just kept on the way I was going and ECL is more of a bookmark saying this is my home system.
