Torque Coaster Fine During Test, Crash During Open

The video states it all, but for those who don't want to view it I'll describe it.

I built a torque coaster that launches forward. When it gets to a long section of Dual Direction Linear Synchronous Motor, from what the description of that track piece says, it SHOULD come to a stop at the end of that track piece, then launch backwards. Instead this is what happens. Test run = coaster launches from station, arrives at dual direction track, comes to a complete stop, launches in reverse, and enters station. Ride is now open = coaster launches from station, ignores dual direction track, falls off the track and crashes. Mind you, only when the ride is open does it function differently then when it was testing.

This seems like a bug to me, and I hope is fixed. I hope in the future we see the ability to have proper launch/reverse coasters.

I'm not entirely sure, if this is a bug or not.
If you run the test a few times - could it be, that it's just (not) working every second time?

Did what you mentioned, and it does crash in test/open mode after the first successful run.

seems like a bug to me, is it because you have 2 of those pieces? Can you make it so its just one long piece?

Tested with a single section of the dual direction track, result is same as before.

Any way to have this thread moved to the bug reports section?

I guess that's because the track piece works like this. - First time: backwards, second time: boost.
And at least it's not a bug. - It might look like one, but for a programmer, it isn't a bug.
You are using a track piece and it works like it should. - If you use it in a way, it isn't meant to work and it doesn't work...that's not a bug. ;)
(Maybe you could say, that it's a bug, that the track piece doesn't reset it's status after starting a second round - But like I wrote above...if you use it like you should, it will work, like it should... :D)

But I'm with you in the point, that launch/reverse coasters should be in a future update. [up]:)
