Sorry, Just got tons of both Gal and Sam in Pristine Metallic whilst mining for top % Plat and Osmium in Harma 7 A ring in a plat HS!!!!
I am just doing my usual mining (not specifically for the CG), and simply turned off 'ignore' for Gal and Sam!!!
There is plenty of Gal and Sam in the usual (up to) 66% High loaded Plat and Osm rocks!!
(CR are just not enough return for me to do JUST the CG, so this is an aside)

Tech brokers were only installed on 3 mining megaships. Exclusivve contract to sell only on those 3 megaships.. Pride of Bitterwood was excluded..
The mining company has over 5 megaships. 3 have tech brokers. the rest dont..

Third mining cutter delivery, player count is still crap as I'm still in top 10 that's how slow this CG is...
This is frankly an awful CG and that's coming from someone who quite fancied a mining CG.
The resources are awful (no hotspots for two of them and the third is an icy rings resource, which means a hotspot only offsets the perpetually awful yields from all icy resources), the profits are insignificant compared to virtually anything else you could be doing and the antagonists are either a slaver who looks like a cross between Nicola Sturgeon and Zelda from Terrahawks, orWeyland Yutani Caine Massey.
It says a lot that I'm in the top 25% with less than 400 tons delivered lol. Think I'll leave them to it at this point.
It's absolutely fine to just have a 'normal' CG that doesn't provide a bunch of whizz-bang gear, but when it's also time consuming, offers low profits and doesn't have a compelling narrative, I hit the 'why am I spending my Sunday on this' moment. Which I just did.

Tip: use a bromellite map
There is no way I will ever be spending my time alt-tabbing to a bunch of pictures of asteroid fields, it's hard to imagine anything less fun.
Those would truly be trying times
Random spraying and praying in an Icy field is more fun than guaranteed gains?
Also, use a second monitor

Love the Extra tech broker size 1 mining lasers you can add now in extra to the allready installed mediums...
I have one of those class 1 mining lasers that are way better than the Mining Lance. It was rewarded as a CG reward, but it was not unlocked for me at a tech broker. What tech broker allows you to buy more of them? What am I missing?
Augmented Items are sold for MATS, they're not unlocked and sold for credits to you...
You have to visit 1 of the 3 mega ships and spend mats for each one you want...

Ahh.. so they were limited to those three megaships. I visited a regular Human Tech broker and it didn't show up there.
Anyways, thanks... I have now bought 9 of them so I can equip on several of my mining ships! I must have missed the information that they would be unlocked to specific mega ships.
