I love TrackIR but sometimes I would like to disable it especially when in station looking at the menus. Is there key binding to lock head..I cant find it?
Also, you can bind buttons to fix view on the left and right panels. I have one of the hats on my X55 set so up is forward view, left is left, and right...you get the idea! Using TiR it automatically disables it while focused on the L or R panels and when you click back to forward it works again.

For this issue i always use F12 to center TrackIr and after that i hit F9 to freeze it. If i launch i hit F9 again to cancel freeze. The best way to handle the menu issue with TrackIr!
I'm facing similar problems, but an outside hotkey is not an option for me.
Is there no way to map a key in ED so it actually toggles trackIR input on and off?
The problem I have with it is that it never resets the camera when I turn off TrackIR.
It just shuts down in whatever direction you were looking, and centering still induces minor drift.
I'd like a button that would snap the camera back to what it normally is when you dont have trackIR.
I do believe something similar is already available for the oculus. Why not link it together?
Actually when I'm looking around (like, away from my PC) I hold shift, which prevents any headlook
Actually actually F9 is cooler, the sensor lights up all pretty and red
