I tried on a secon PC today and got the same errors
TCE hangs at the import journals, and if I remove them it starts with the same errors
My Windows is German, to be more prcise, swiss german.
Is anyone still using EliteOCR to capture Commodity data?
Mine stopped working and I have run out of ideas to troubleshoot it.
Hi Eventure,
I'm having a bit of a problem with top menu of TCE disappearing from view whenever I click on "Trade - hide" and also with "routes - finder - hide".
I've checked all my keybinds and turned off Voice Attack and tested with two keyboards and made sure ED is in Borderless mode.
If I run TCE without ED running it behaves fine in that I can't get the top bar to disappear by clicking the above combos. If I run ED then it keeps on hiding itself with the above combos.
The only way I can get it NOT to disappear is to hold down my TCE Focus key while I click around the menus. Am I being dumb? Is that how TCE is now?
I'm using 1.4.7.
Thanks...
Hi there,
can't recreate your issue, so please send me your database by using the Report an Error button at the launcher.
Please tell me to understand:
1. Did all panels disappear, or only the main UI?
2. When using the TCE show/hide keybind, can it be unhidden?
3. When it disappears, it is behind ED (check by ALT-Tab), no longer ontop?
4. How many monitors you are using?

Got a crash bug: PC Bluescreened when bringing up the station screen (first visit for TCE, had just been added to DB). Now whenever I start TCE I get a .net exception at the 90% loading mark. Have tried moving my ship in elite but no luck:

there is an EDMC file lying around somewhere that I want to nuke?
The EDMC_Hangar.csv file seems to be the issue. You will find it at the EDMC_Data folder of the TCE installation.
Remove the file or all files within the folder, they got automatically created at startup, if they missing.
But please send me the TCE_Hangar.csv before to eventure(at)ki.tng.de for a check.
Thanks.
Please try to activate the multi-monitor option at the Options panel, if it will change anything to your issue.
Did you using the surround mode of your GFX card, or each monitor solely?
Hi Eventure,
No difference if I select multi-monitor setup.
However the TCE Main UI is showing when I ALT-Tab, sorry I reported that incorrectly in my earlier post.
My monitors are set up as "Extend these displays" in Win 7 so each monitor is using 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The first time I click on trade - hide it works ok but if I repeat it the second time it hides the TCE Main UI, same with Routes - Planer - Hide.
Thanks

Okay, you saying, each monitor is used seperately, so not 3840 x 1080, but 1920x1080 each.
When selecting the multimonitor option, you have to select a monitor (when not using surround mode), where TCE is displayed. Did you tried selecting Monitor 1 or 2, or you stayed onto all?
When changing to multi-monitor option or selecting a monitor, please make a restart of TCE thereafter to be sure, the changes applied properly.
