Yes, they were overtaken from your old database.

Ao, I might not be the smartest guy. I have this installed and can see the overlays. I like EDMC but there is not a guide to using these two together. Can someone please give me the idiot version of what to do when I land at a station and want EDMC data to populate TCE? also in the configuration of ECMC there are different selections for OUTPUT FORMAT and where to place the data. where should this information be going????? please help me

Grrrr. How do I make sure my changes stick? Or is that just legacy problems I'm dealing with and they'll sort themselves out eventually?

Just started off a new commander using 1.1.4 of your fabulous tool. At LHS3447 in Trevithick Dock (a common new commander station) I noticed that the station is a "Mining Outpost" but there is no option for this in TCE II. Could it be added?

Thanks

Jim

*edit*
Also just found a "Outpost" class space station if that could be added.

The "Mining Outpost" is equal to "Industrial Outpost". You will see it under CONTACTS of ED, that the mining outpost is described as industrial outpost.

Another issue I am having is that despite adding a few markets to a completly fresh TCE database I am seeing nothing in the "Star Systems" tab of "Navigation". When I click any of the column headings I get an unhandled exception as follows:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Quick update. I changed the "Jump Limit" from the default "10" (which I had not touched with this new blank database to my actual fully loaded jump range. This immediately fixed the issue with star systems showing. Not sure why a new database would have a problem.

Feature request. In the summary tab could it be made possible to change the star class and visited status in the same way you can on the navigation tab.

Rename or remove them with TCE. As I said before, there are some star system names, which missing an apostrophe.

Can someone please give me the idiot version of what to do when I land at a station and want EDMC data to populate TCE? also in the configuration of ECMC there are different selections for OUTPUT FORMAT and where to place the data. where should this information be going????? please help me

To add a market, click on DATABASE > MARKETS > NEW ENTRY, select the triangle at the end of the Market Name row, if avialable, select the corresponding name of the market and check the displayed data with the market, you are currently.
Click on SAVE to store the market into your database. Now a CONNECT button is displayed in the middle, below the TRADE button.

There are no changes required to the EDMC configuration, you only have to verify your login data to use EDMC out of TCE.

Feature request. In the summary tab could it be made possible to change the star class and visited status in the same way you can on the navigation tab.

Will come with the next version.

Don't know, why your Star System tab was empty. Tried to recreate it, but I can't. Added a potenial fix for the issue with the next version.

Full Version (1.1.5) and Update released:

Changelog:
- Added the ability to change the star system state and class from the Star System Summary panel as like the Navigation panel (click the header/value).
- Added missing translations for the Region Summary of the Navigation panel.
- Fixed a display issue for available commodities at the Route Planner panel.
- Fixed an error at the Region Summary, if a region center is not selected.
- Fixed an error with loading a created backup at the launcher.
- Fixed a missing update of the Region Summary/Star Systems at the Navigation panel.

Note:
If you using the V1.1.1 - V1.1.4, please use the update, because no database changes are required for this version. Otherwise you have to install the full version and import your old database.

Please check this out, if you are using V1.1.0 and older before:

Question: What I have to do, when a new version of TCE is released?
Answer: With every FULL release, pls do the following:

1. Rename current TCE folder (e.g. C:\TCE_1_1)
2. Install new full TCE Version (e.g. C:\TCE)
3. Run TCE, go to Configuration, detecting the Paths (optional, because TCE copies your old TCE.ini file with an import).
4. Database Management -> Import from MKII -> Choose old folder (C:\TCE_1_1)

Many thanks.

No, as you can see at the changelog of the V1.1.5, there comes a fix for the backup function, which didn't work (the extraction) at the V1.1.1. If you are using the V1.1.1, you can use the update of the V1.1.5. Copy it over your 1.1.1 and extract your backup by hand or with the V1.1.5.
