Release Trade Computer Extension Mk.II

Hello Eventure,

I have had the problem for some time that TCE Rely gets stuck at 23% (station File). I have checked/repaired all databases.

Would be very grateful for a tip.

Best regards

Hi Falcon0272,

we had this problem recently and it fixed itself. The download was probably corrupt. Try changing the source for the download in the TCE Relay setup and see if that solves the problem.

Which source works for you? I have tried “SPANSH/ EDSM Server”. However, it also hangs at 23%.

Many thanks for your efforts.

Many thanks for your efforts.
I have made a test run and all worked well here, so I recommend the following:
1. Delete all files in the \DUMP folder of TCE.
2. Select the "Limit Extraction to information sphere" option in TCE Relay, if not already done.
3. Try downloading the files by browser and move them to the \DUMP folder, if the default source (TCE-Server) or the direct links of spansh and EDSM don't work.
4. Change the number of cores used by TCE Relay.

If all fails, please send me your ErrorReportFiles.7z, which is created by hitting the "Report A Bug" button and attach the file to the mail. I will try to recreate the issue.

Notes:
Either download the version above, install and transfer your old database, or use the auto-update function of the launcher.
Click the 'new version' notice at the bottom of the launcher.

If you find an error or bug, please report and use the Report a Bug button at the launcher and don't forget to copy and add the error details and ErrorReportFile.7z archive.

Thanks for adding the destination. Does not appear to be working all the time though. For example, when I select route/destination from the navigation pane, the banner and output json change, but if I click the route/destination in the shopping pane, the banner is updated, but the output json file does not change.

Also is STEEL missing from the commodities list. I looked for it in the shopping list, but did not find it.

Any one getting a .NET error when starting the application?
I have re installed the program and all the .NET software, but as soon as i try to launch and the bar at the top starts loading i get the error.
"Index was outside of matrix limits" (Translated from Swedish, "Indexet låg utanför gränserna för matrixen")

Unfortunately, Frontier no longer informs us developers in advance about changes or additions.
I will add Steel with a hotfix, incl. fixes for the Destination output you found. I'm waiting currently of error details of other players to fix them too.
But as long as EDMC and the nightly dump from Spansh don't receive an update, steel will probably not be recognized and output by them either.
Until then, you have to go to into the market tab of the game, so TCE can recognize and add it to the list of available commodities.

Bugg report sent.
I think it is more a "my computer" problem, but any help would be great!

Yes i got confirmation it was me that was the problem.
I installed an updated version of the program without using the updater in the program, corrupting my install.
By installing to a new folder and then importing the databases from the old folder, it now works great!
Thank you support!! :)

Version [1.9.5.7] Hotfix released
Changelog:
  • Added the new commodity 'Steel' to the Resources database.
  • Fixed an issue with the Destination export to file in various panels.
  • Fixed an issue with the 'Automatic Update' option in the TCE Relay Service when TCE Relay is started with Windows.
Notes:
This is a hotfix for TCE, so the revision number remains. It is for users who have already installed the current version of TCE. To install the hotfix, simply overwrite the existing files in the TCE folder with those from the hotfix.
For those who have not yet installed the current version of TCE, the update and the full version have been updated subsequently.

There where two new commodities with the Trailblazers update:
IDNameCategory_LocalisedName_LocalisedMeanPrice
129031238SteelMetalsSteel4179
129031327HaematiteMineralsHaematite1791

Three new StationServices:
  • ColonisationContribution: "Construction Services"
  • Refinery: "Refinery Contact"
  • RegisteringColonisation: "System Colonisation"

And two new Stationtypes:
  • SpaceConstructionDepot: "Orbital Construction Site"
  • PlanetaryConstructionDepot: "Planetary Construction Site"
Megaships by the name of System Colonisation Ship are only temporary and go away after the station is build. The same happens to the construction sites which will change to the end type (outpost, starport, installation, ...).

And station names in the player colonies can change at any time.

Thank you very much!
Do you have any info about the internal ID's of the Mandalay and Cobra Mk.V?

Thanks again, I only looked at updates to files that were at least 7 months old. I didn't check the pull requests. Will do it in the future!

I have received reports of colonization mission errors caused by undocumented and unannounced changes to mission event output by Frontier.
I am continuing to update TCE to accommodate the Trailblazers update.

The next update to TCE will fix the mission issues.

Version [1.9.6.0] released
Changelog:
  • Added new 'Haematite' commodity to the Resources database.
  • Added a picture for Orbital and Planetary Construction Sites. If you have a better picture, please let me know!
  • Rework of Mission and Mission History database, because the MissionID format of the new colonisation missions creates an overflow error.
  • Fixed an issue with the Missions event for failed and completed missions and is now handled correctly.

Special Note:
Currently, the number of TCE users is going through the roof and I wanted to remind you that I will continue to support TCE and fix any errors. However, there are also server costs on my side and I wanted to ask you, if you haven't donated yet, to support my project with a cup of tea, if you like.
Thank you for considering a donation. Your support is invaluable.

Thank you for the update, I just updated from the launcher and during the database transfer a 'Index was outside the bounds of the' array error. I'll send you an email shortly.

I also had the database transfer a 'Index was outside the bounds of the' array error. I sent a log to your email. Error occurred on the missions db transfer. Hope the file helps.

Version [1.9.6.1] released
Changelog:
  • Fixed an error when transferring the Mission History database to the actual TCE version.
Notes:
Either download the version above, install and transfer your old database, or use the auto-update function of the launcher.
Click the 'new version' notice at the bottom of the launcher.

After the update has been installed, it is now possible to transfer the database from the "old" TCE version.
You can also start your "old" version again and perform the update from there. The transfer then happens automatically if the option was activated on the login screen.

If you find an error or bug, please report and use the Report a Bug button at the launcher and don't forget to copy and add the error details and ErrorReportFile.7z archive.
