Release Trade Computer Extension Mk.II

Greetings all, I am getting this when trying to connect with EDCM... worked fine yesterday... I applied the update to MKII today and then the error. See the screenshot linky

http://prntscr.com/9pn84p

Exactly the same here. Tried going back to the .9.6 version to no avail.

BTW, anyone else notice that EDMC is having a problem importing BIO Waste and BIO Reducing Lichen data in the commodities? Odd, those are the only 2 I have found that will not import.

That problem has been reported by many, so it'll probably be fixed in the next release, Unfortunately Eventure isn't a Robot and I assume he (assuming Eventure is a He) works as well, so a little patience.

How are they labeled in the game? And how are they labeled in TCE? Are they exactly the same, including capitalisation and spaces?

I'm at work so I can't check right now.

Hi Eventure

Well have to say the MK1 and MK11 are just about the best program's for ED and as it has been mentioned before ED should employ you
getting these programs up and running and sorting out the problems after I can only say all the reps I have are yours++++++++++++

And my problem is database from 1 to 11 which loads and completes it but then I get the Net Framework box.

Hi all,

in searching of bugs, I found a critical one, which belongs to the star system database.
If a new star system was saved, or one modified, the data for X/Y/Z coordinated are stored in a wrong format.
So the data is no longer correctly imported (they loosing the decimal places). I have to rework the export routine.
With the rework, we all have to reset the databases with the upcomming full version (a reinstall is required).
Sorry, but the problem reaches deep.

Hi Eventure

As you suggested I have disabled my AV and (even though I have Access installed) ran the Access runtime file.

Success... up to a point. The files converted (eventually) and I was faced with the integration option. As per your instruction I deleted all the .db files in the DB folder prior to confirming integration but I then got the error concerning the TDM.db file in the TDM folder. As well as deleting the files in the DB folder before integration should I also delete the files in the TDM folder as well?

Thanks

Once I have it up and running I feel that another donation will be in order ;)
I had this same problem, but removed the db files from the db folder at the point I got the button to start the conversion, Never had any other problems after that.

The in-game commodity market (and EDMC) lists these as "Bioreducing Lichen" and "Biowaste".
The full list of commodities and their spellings reported by EDMC is here.

At work as well (gotta fund this game and get Eventure a payment for his extraordinary work). Didn't think to check that. Will take a look later.
Thanks

Earlier in this thread I had mistakenly thought I had found a new type of Station " Corporate " . This is completely false .
Screenshot_0110.jpg

as you can see it says "Government ". By clicking on the next "tab" which is called "info" you get the correct type of economy for input into TCE.

Sorry for misunderstanding.....

oh, so my bug wasnt my stupidness lol. Hope its not too much work for you.

The following are screenshots of an Outpost which is labeled as "OUTPOST" only.... Not Industrial , Military or Civilian .

It has been suggested that these are "Unsanctioned Outposts" but I don't think so.. no pirate logo's. They look more like regular Civilian Outposts to me.

Hello again,

checking all the bug reports, there are some reports, that didn't hold the required informations, to fix the bug.

Check this:

Question: What I have to do, when i got an error message?
Answer: Please give me some information's about what you have done to trigger the error, the full details report (when pressing "Details"), the error message itself and a screenshot of TCE Mk.II with the message. That will be really helpful.

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure what you are saying with respect to our data base.

Are you saying that we cannot convert our MKI to MKII or that the stuff we did since using MKII is no good?

If the latter, no problem! If the former, I will cry in my wheaties :)

Thanks for a great app.

I have one problem though, on a planet in MCC296 (B1) there are two Planetary Ports. Crowley Installation and Hodgson Holdings. I have added data for Hdgson Holdings but when i fly to Crowley it does not recognized I have moved. Am i missing something?

Please send me your netlog file for this session. Thanks

Eventure, I have edited my post and added the details. It is this one: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=223056&page=14&p=3415893&viewfull=1#post3415893

You can import your data, but the SQLite database, you are currently using are no longer in good shape. Any changes to the star system database will break it.
Now fixed most of the reported bugs, will release a new full version soon.

It seems odd that we didn't encounter this issue in the closed beta, any idea why that was?

Given I'm going on an exploration trip and only upgraded today I take it that it is worthwhile continuing with Mk 1 for now (as I've added nothing since upgrading as been driving my SRV like I stole it) and then import that database (losing hopefully minimal data) when the next full Mk 2 is released?

Thanks for the heads up on the problem too.

I remind everyone... we should donate to Eventure... excellent product and his (her?) first one!!! That deserves an applause!!!!
