Changelog:
- Fixed a crash with integration of Mk.I databases.
- Fixed a bug when converting Mk.I database.
- Fixed a bug with Last Star display at the Star System Database panel.
- Fixed a crash at the Trade Market Database panel.
- Fixed the taskbar issue.
- Reworked export to SQLite data writing now the correct format at the star system and logbook database.
- Optimized import of SQLite data.
- Fixed a string to date error at some panels and routines.
- Corrected some good names (Landmines, Bioreducing Lichen, Biowaste).
- Removed "Corporate" as an economy type from database.
- Added 10 pictures of space ships.
- Starter database adjusted to be compatible with this version. Please reload, if you want to use it.

Note:
No update available, because of important database changes. Please convert your old TCE Mk.I database or start fresh.

Please report with the required informations (see FAQs > Error reporting), if your error/bug/crash is not fixed with this version.

excellent, eventure.
could i ask for a little favour, perhaps for next full version? i'd like to have a notes field, ideally in the personal tab.
non relevant to any position, just a global thing. for entering notes not related to a destination or something like a reminder / to-do list.
something like: don't forget to chek out blah, remember to collect bounties in blah, visit planet blah...
pretty please?

Just tried the new version.
Still a few error messages about invalid convertion from string to double at the beginning.

Otherwise I managed to connect, ypdate prices and so on.
I will play around more in details later on but great job !

Please report these error messages, especially the first. Add your database and make a screenshot.

please I am going insane can someone pls write step by step how to get the connection between ED Market Connector and TCE? I've been spending 1 hour trying to get the solution. I read about the command line about the connect button, but I don't figure out what to do.

Nice update Eventure.

Install OK.
Convert MKI to MKII OK.
Launch OK.

When I change the font and zoom for the main panel under 'control/panel' using the arrows/slider, it works great. But, when I exit TCE and launch TCE, it forgets these changes and goes back to default zoom/font. No errors, it just forgets the settings. I am running 5760x1080 if that matters.

in TCE MKII, you'll need to first register the market, after succesfully saving the market you'll see a connect button below the trade button.
that's all.

I read this post but I still cant get it really. Can you post a screenshot pls? I installed TCE and EDMC today for me they are totally new stuff.

when you have installed EDMC, you have to launch it once seperately.
you have to input your login from the ED launcher, so it can connect. you'll get an email with a verification code shortly, that has to been entered in EDMC.
in tce, when that first step went well, you have to save a market, like you did in the screenie.
after saving a market, a connect button will appear below the trade button. that's it.

You screen image is of TCE Mk I which does not work with EDMC and is no longer supported. You should install TCE Mk II with EDMC and delete TCE Mk I if you have never used it. Eventure's post above gives the latest version of TCE Mk II v0.9.8 to download and install. If you have used TCE Mk I you can convert the data base to Mk II.

I have been clicking around trying to find problems in 0.9.8, but not having much luck.

1. One thing I'm not sure about is the 'Personal/Statistics' button doesn't do anything. I have never tried to see that though, so I'm not sure what is supposed to be there. The other three work great and show what you would expect. Cool stuff!

2. Also, when just sitting in the station doing nothing, TCE occasionally pops up "unable to obtain market listing". Not sure why.

Some notes for noobs.

3. In the main panel, there is "commodities". Under that, I see 'View prices' and 'Not'. The "Not" means, I think, that you don't have Elite OCR installed/linked to TCE. You don't have to if you use EDMC, so don't worry about it. I guess this is where you would go to scan prices with Elite OCR if that's your way of doing it.

4. When adjusting the zoom or font size...You click on the arrow, then click to set the zoom or font, then click on the arrow again before doing anything else. I had tried to click the arrow, adjust font, then click on arrow for zoom...not the way to do it.

1. Statistics are not included yet, because of low importance. It will come with an update later.

2. Give me the error report please.

3. Reduce the font size a little and you will see "NOT INSTALLED".

4. That is right! To finalize the changes made to transparancy, font size or panel size, click the highlighted small button again to save the setting.

There was nothing other than the box with the message. It has not happened again while I've been sitting at the station. I also just tried to see the bb and ED couldn't connect to the server. I wonder now if it was a TCE or ED issue. I will report back if it happens again.

Looks great, read the FAQ, feel like i need a tutorial video or something to figure it out. Never used anything like it before.
