Hello Eventure

Thank you first for this great tool. The only problem I have is that I get the message "Server down" when trying to update the market data via EDMC. EDMC-standalone-tool runs perfectly.

For exam and short answer I would be grateful.

I need your actual database for a check.

Please test the following:
Install TCE V1.4.0.6 + Update V1.4.1.0 again to a different folder and use a blank database to launch TCE.
When loaded, register the current market, you are and check, if the error appears again.
If it not showing up again, please transfer your database from your defective TCE installation into the new one
and try to register a market there again. Did you get the error again?

Tested it yesterday and all worked fine. The server down message is from the EDMC.exe, which exiting with the error code you saw.
Any other users having the same issue? Please report, if it is working or not. Thanks.

Help..... Been careless and lost the 3 lower panels (Waypoints, credits & summary) they are nowhere to be found!

Quick rundown on how I got to this point:
I was getting lots of errors using TCE since updating to the 2.2 versions and as I didn't have an awful lot of data I reset all the db's which cured the errors, I no longer get any errors but that was when the lower panels disappeared.
I bound keys to those panels to see if I could bring them up and although I get the sound no panel appears.

I would be thankful for any help.

Please reset the Panel.db file at the database window of the launcher or copy your old Panel.db file from a previous installation into the DB folder of your actual installation of TCE.

Thank you, resetting the panel.db didn't seem to help but a restore from yesterday did the trick.

Hopefully all is now well :)

Sometimes I have a problem that TCE upper windows dissappear. After a while they return. I have tried to alt/tab , but that doesn`t work.
The information on the mid left are working when docking etc..
Is there a key to get the windows to return that I have missed?

When starting TCE, goto keybinds. There you got TCE hide/show, choose a key from the list to be your hotkey.

Doh, I think I fixed it.
I assined a key for TCE on/off. Seemed to fix it.

Since yesterday I do have a problem with the camera view. It doesn't appear anymore after a scan as it used to do. I tried several times. No luck. And yes it is selected at the configuration panel. Version 1.4.10

Any ideas?

TCE hides it's interface on interdictions and unhides it again when entering supercruise or a new system. The TCE HIDE/UNHIDE keybind brings it back on command, if required.

Could be an out-of-screen or opacity issue. Did a restart helped? And the controls didn't show up too?
The Camera panel are actually two panels. One for the shot, the other holds the controls.

But also I have to ask, if you have removed your detailed surface scanner?
And, did TCE showing via Reporter, that you have scanned a body?

Hi Eventure

Now using 1.4.1.0 and changed to exploring for a change of scene from mining :)

I've noticed a few minor glitches.

- When using the detailed scanner on an unexplored body once discovered TCE should kick in with the camera panel. However on occasions there are various errors which are thrown up but once they are dismissed TCE appears to continue normally. The images below show what I mean.

- With the navigation panel TCE now picks up the star class and populates the bottom part of the panel but it is not carried to the top panel as well. The images below illustrate this.

- I have also been having a problem with locations. The stations are now entered automatically, which is fine, but I cannot enter a location. I have come out of SC on a number of occasions and clicked the top panel box & then new location to enter a location. The text within the top box changes to 'click to cancel' for a short time and then reverts to 'click to add a location' (I can't remember the exact text off hand) without bringing up the location panel for me to enter data. No errors are produced by TCE for this so I can't post any more information.

To help with the cartography glitches I have attached my journal log, that covers the period of the screen shots.

You are using an obsolete TCE_Cartography.db database, please remove the file from the DB folder, copy the TCE_Cartography.tdm from the TDM folder into your DB folder and rename in to TCE_Cartography.db

Ups, yea, a missing update. Will be fixed with the next release.

Installing the latest version and then copying over my database solved the market error, thanks very much

Not sure what happened, no errors were found on verification but I jumped away again and this time when I came back the planet locations I added before that did not seem to work do. The minimap is showing and I can select them as locked location. So it's an intermittent bug or somehow when I jumped away the first time it just didn't register with TCE.
Still can't delete them without causing the error I previously posted thought.
