I guess yes, you would include systems. I had assumed that it worked this way currently: Download system and station data from EDDB, get current user coordinates, check current coordinates against list of stars from EDDB. Filter out stars > radius. Within remaining stars, identify all station from EDDB. Filter out stations > distance from star. Add/update systems and stations to TCE. So I don't see the problem you see. From you description maybe you are doing it some other way, or are you thinking of a station that exists, yet no-one has gone to with EDMC to have it reported? I guess that is possible, but you can only include what is in EDDB.As long as they are included into the EDDB nightly dump, but there is another problem. TCE includes only those stations actually, which star system is already available at the star system database. Because it isn't far from complete, should TCE add the corresponding star systems for those stations automatically?
@ Checked the number of stations, which star systems are not included in TCE, which are 1,5k from 62,5k.
Correct. I was thinking more on this. I like the freeform text entry distance better than the options boxes for distance. You can then put in 21,000 LY to include Colonia if you want, or any other number based on how for you are willing to travel. It means you don't have to code the check boxes as well.I mean all stations available from EDDB or at least all available from the nightly dump, which of course isn't the complete list of stations.
This have to be coupled with adding then previously unknown star systems to the database.
One more thing. This just happened to me. I ran TCE and my center system is UNKNOWN. I don't know if this is because I ran EDMC before TCE. I have plugins for TCE, so it needs to be visible, not command line driven. It auto starts when Elite starts. In this case, I don't know how the new program will work. Hopefully it will not delete all store stations. It is not bothering me at the moment as I am far from the bubble and not trading.
