So. I have two E accounts both Oddysey.
First acct. One is my original, since O Beta release, now nearing Sag A on a long exploration drive.
Second account.The other is a few years old, just revisited, now trading and building reputation (and credits).
I have set them up by installing to 2 different folders. The game data goes to one folder.
I use a few apps or sites. EDDiscovery, EDMC (Hutton plugin), ED Engineer, Inara.cz, Voice Attack.
They are all linked by API, feeding to & calling from EDSM, where appropriate.
I have just started using TCE Mk2. Fairly easy to setup on my 2nd account. Seems a very comprehensive and useful app.
I have tried to set it up for my 1st account.
It loads player data, but seems to includes market data from 2nd account. No worries in itself.

I have a problem with linking into EDMC app.
I log into E with my 1st account. EDMC recognises that commander name.
But in TCE, the settings for EDMC app are red. I can't find the commander name (commander unknown).
Apart from that it seems OK.
Any ideas on resolving this, please? It's driving me to drink .

The CMDR UNKNOWN display (error code 8) informs you that an error occurred when TCE accessed EDMC.exe.

In TCE, when changing the CMDR in the game, you have to select the corresponding CMDR in the TCE login screen so that the databases for the selected CMDR are loaded accordingly.

Therefore, my recommendation is to only start TCE after selecting the CMDR in the game, i.e. when you are already sitting in the pilot's seat. A journal file for the current CMDR is then created by the game and EDMC/TCE then access the same journal file, which synchronizes both apps.

Perhaps @Rixxan can tell you something about the error code 8 that EDMC.exe returns when accessed.

Thank you so much, eventure.
I did three things to attempt correction.
1. I checked location of EDMC.exe in databases, found I had selected correct folder, but didn't select the EDMC.exe . Changed that and got green light on status.
2. I disconnected then reconnected EDMC in Frontier approved apps page.
3. I have a batch file to start various apps and the AussieDroid Warthog script.
I have temporarily 'remmed-out' EDMC and TCE, starting them after logged into E and game running.

Everything is working now. See my screenshots. So, thanks very much indeed.
(Of course, as my original account ship is now about 150 lt yrs from Sag A, there aren't many Markets available within a 200 lt yr range ).
