trams

I liked the open sided trams from the Studios pack in PC1. PC2 has an enclosed bus, but it also has an open sided monorail. There are new things in PC2 but there are things from PC1 missing.

Would love to see this retro monorail;

I would love Trams - maybe a San Fransisco type cable tram for gradients and like a funicular and a modern Red Trolley type tram would be amazing - especially if it could be put into the walkways - integrate and be used like a suburban tram system.

Also would love large Paddle Steamer boats - like the Molley Brown at Paris Disney - kind of Steampunk, yet elegant and able to transport vast amounts of guests and be used like Rivers of America - a peaceful attraction for guests to relax on, and a homage to their in danger attraction.

Love this game - it is so good - thank you Dev's!

Trams in parks (i.e., Trolleys, Double-Decker Buses, Horse Carriages etc.,) would be fantastic.

But having said that, I have a suggestion for trams as well as monorails and/or trains... I would like the option to make them mandatory or optional.

What I mean is... Currently, if you wanted to build a "parking lot" with a spawn location or two, separated from the theme park itself perhaps via water (think Disney's Ticket & Transportation Center as an example). Now let's say you had a monorail and (maybe Frontier will put out a new ferry in the futre?) to take peeps to the "entrance" I still have to connect the "parking lot" to the entrance gates via a pathway. If there is a monorail and/or ferry, but no pathway exists between the parking lot and the entrance gates, the peeps will just leave and never board the monorail (or ferry.)

I would love the option to "force" the peeps to use these transportation systems. In this case, you could toggle the parking lot tram "optional" but the monorail (or new ferry) would be "mandatory" as there's no other way to get to the "main entrance". When guests leave the park, same thing in reverse.

Uhm, i am getting into theorycrafting, the issue guests don't use the monorail cause they aren't in the park, so you could work around that, by moving your 'real' park entrance to the spawner and make your parkentrance a fake one. The issue i am seeing here is a capacity one, for example: even a monorail in shuttle could only transport a few guests compared to the thousands who want to use the monorail in both sides.

Moving the entrance gate to the spawn location is certainly a workaround. But if you isolate the path system from the rest of the "park" path system, you get warnings galore. If you had just a shuttle from p-lot to gate, the only use would be to transport peeps - it would have steady traffic if the trains are large enough and there multiples. It would help "pace" the amount of traffic flowing in and out. Just some ideas...
