Tranquilised Dinosaur not being Collected/Sold - Sandbox/Pennsylvania

I've been building a Conservation Park on the Pennsylvania Map in Sandbox for about two months now. I've been in my element and really really enjoying the game... but now a bug has kind of ruined my whole experience...

About a month ago, a Pteranodon 'escaped' the Aviary and was perching on the roof of an Aviary Viewing Gallery (despite it not being damaged at the time, which it seems is a common glitch in itself) and I had to tranquilise it manually from the chopper. After trying to move it, it was never collected, so I opted to sell it- and it still hasn't been collected. Sometimes it is surrounded by collection flares, and then on another reload they'll be gone, but the tranquilised/awaiting collection icon always remains. I've tried closing the park, reopening the park, building a fence around it, demolishing it, and all other number of other things (more below)

The game has run several real-time hours and other dinos have now been moved/collected/sold in the meantime. But still, the Pteranodon remains stuck on my map. I have today even managed to demolish my Aviary altogether and successfully sell all of the other Pterandons in it (in the hopes of avoiding further aviary-related issues in the future ruining my save) and still... this one Pteranodon remains stuck in a pond in my park, it doesn't wake up, it is never collected, and ACU vehicles now regularly run over it whilst performing other tasks.

I am out of ideas on how to fix this, could someone please help?

Perhaps another dino can eat it? Other than that, sorry for you file loss since I am not confident it can be salvaged without the pteranodon being there.
I actually tried this (with Indominous, no less) and they just ignore the Pteranodon. I think you might be right. New save time, I guess :(
