Transfer my account from Epic to Steam but keep a secondary account.

Hi cmdrs!
I got the game for free in Epic and purchased Odyssey some years ago. Since then I've been playing the game and enjoying it a lot, focusing on exploring and exobio.

The game is on sale in Steam and I purchased it there, as I prefer Steam over Epic and is easier to game in Linux using Steam (I only log into Windows to play Elite), I've tried Heroic Games but it didn't work as I expected.

I've been reading that you can transfer your account from Epic to Steam, but as I have two copies of the game I'd like to have 2 accounts. Is it possible to transfer my main account (the Epic one) to Steam and create a new one in Epic to use as a secondary account?

Thanks, fly safe!

ED/Epic/Wine/Linux works well with the Legendary launcher, in case you want to try that again.
(The only caveat is that you may need to pass --wine=wine64 if you get errors about EOSSDK-Win64-Shipping.dll , this depends on your distro.)

Otherwise, FDev Support it is..

Yep, basically your Frontier accounts (which are free from Frontier, each has only one commander slot and requires a unique email) are independent of the game platform. You can log in to the Frontier site under one Frontier account and unlink it (and its commander) from your Epic account, and relink it to Steam instead. Then when you next launch the game in Steam you'll play the commander associated with the Frontier account you linked to that Steam account.

The Frontier site to link/unlink third party accounts like Steam and Epic is
