Traveller-style RPG for PC

Yeah, that is kind of what I was afraid of. I think I'll wait for a bit. (Like I don't have enough games to play, right now)
Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to this, some time in near future. Thank you. :)

There was a mega traveller game many years ago, I remember liking it at the time

Yeah, I still have a floppy with Megatraveller 2: Quest for the Ancients. The game never got great ratings but I loved to play it back in the day. Fun Fact, the game was actually designed by the same guy who created the original Traveller RPG, Marc Miller and both games are set within the Traveller universe. So the two old Megatraveller games might be the closest you can get to a videogameadaptation of the traveller RPG. You can even use the Megatraveller charactor creator in the videogame to create characters for Traveller RPGs. If you want to take a peak at the games, there are actually a surprisingly large number of videos for both games on youtube.

I'm certain Marc Miller's intentions on the game are good, but keep in mind he's no spring chicken, and he seems to be having issues getting T5 whipped into shape. There are Megatraveller 1 and 2 out there, assuming you can get them to run on something.

All too true. I'm afraid I will never see a true Traveller computer franchise.

Just reviving the thread quickly to say I've started playing this

Superluminal Vagrant Twin.

It's a browser-based text game but it's certainly got that Traveller feeling - if you were into GDW back in the day, fire it up and have a look, I think you'll enjoy it.
