Tritium to depot option

Jeez tyres - even you have already posted about this

please learn how to use forum search, unlike these wingnuts:

etc etc etc etc

Hmm. I did search too! :D Perhaps my wingnut brain is still in neutral!

If a mod would be so kind as to either delete or lock as appropos? Thanks.

when it comes to something as wanted as this then recon the right way is to keep posting until there's some sort of official acknowledgment

Has this been asked in an AMA?

Yes please FDEV.

As I remarked on Twitter, why can’t I remotely transfer Tritium from my carrier cargo to the tritium depot? Why is it necessary for me to physically be there? It’s really rather silly and very tiresome and makes carriers a little bit less useful.

Come on now. This appears to have been desired by many of us for quite some time.

A bit of a necro there but it still remains, in my eyes, a QOL feature worth considering.

If this has been asked before, I apologise.

Please could we have a way of transferring tritium directly to the depot instead of loading to the ship first?
I support this 100%. And I don't see a problem if this request is repeated. It just means its really needed. If this does not appear in 6 month, please post it again.

The work around was to load up on free Epic accounts, (PC only, consoles already have free alts), and give them just enough through your FC to buy an E rated type 9, a full cargo bay full of Tritium, park them on your FC, and then just log into those alt accounts to top off your tanks.

This of course turns into an exploit because the Trit in those alts' cargo bays does not count towards your FC's cargo limits. Seems like it would be very handy for heading up to the Peak with Lavian Brandy and the like.

Ooo, that's a good one. Fill your carrier with T9s to vastly increase its cargo capacity without affecting its jump range. ;-)
