General Turning off simulated sounds in space.

I played today for about 20 minutes with life support off, and it was absolutely amazing! Everything I've ever wished to experience in Odyssey!
I really felt immersed, hearing my pilot breathing, every other sound except the ship very muffled.

Seems like we could easily have an option to disable just the audio simulation, without disabling life support as well. This could work on foot as well, on planets with no atmosphere, or in the SRV.

Please add this for us FDev, the sounds are all already there, just need to make a button to switch the simulated sounds off. What do you think ?

This. It's kinda of immersion breaking to hear a close by ship boosting.

I really like the idea of changing the sound effects to (optionally) be TRUE space sounds. So you only hear your OWN ship sounds, your OWN breathing, weapons firing and perhaps bulkheads expanding and contracting in heat scenarios.

Also if you get hit by weapons then it would be cool to get suitable sound effects depending on the weapon type.

However, it should transition to normal sounds as soon as you enter an atmospheric environment such as a station or a planet.

Perhaps even implement the Doppler effect when appropriate in atmospheric environments? All of this please.
