I'm going to have to get on to my PC manufacturer though to make sure it's not a hardware problem.

Borderless or windowed mode works, not fullscreen.

Once you connect you can see them, but it is probably rarely used. most people use chat/forum to trade instead.

That you don't have the necessary amount in your personal inventory, but can either trade for the materials at a bartender or you have enough of them in your carrier inventory.
