Type 10

I believe the new type 10 ship should be a combined effort of the Federation and Empire to combat the new Thargoid threat.

To this end it should only be available/unlocked by cmdr's who have BOTH Admiral and King ranks.

:p

or not :)

I disagree. Only Emperors should be allowed to fly it. :)
Because that is what emperors do: they fly around the universe in T10s, just like Kings and admirals fly around in corvettes and cutters, trading and shooting stuff.
Because that is what kings and admirals do in the ED universe.

Perhaps you can guess I am not happy with players being able to become admirals and kings in ED.
I think it is inappropriate and it leads to a ridiculous situation of there being hundreds, if not thousands of admirals and kings in the game who have no realistic powers attached to their rank and are treated like anybody else by the NPC universe. They can even hold the highest rank in both opposing armies.
The entire system is absurd.

I dunno about a type 10, but it's about time the 'Super Rich' players had something to spend their money on... a Station, Planetary Base an Orbital Bar... I dunno, anything that costs money to buy/build and even more to run...
C'mon Fdev make us spend.
While I'm at it start charging for parking and Storage, and taxing profits... give us a reason to earn!

Sounds good until you go away on vacation or get deployed overseas for a few months, then come home to find your ships have been automatically mortgaged to pay for parking . . . o7

I would like docking fees and perhaps a one time long term storage fee for ships when they arrive at a new station.

But it would be disastrous if we got charged per week or month. Not everybody is playing the game all the time.
This would also force people to focus more and more on earning enough money all the time.
I am afraid it might suck the fun out of the experience.

Its a lakon ship, not an empire ship. It will be a public, non naval ship. Deal with it. All you people saying that the type 10 should have naval rank are fooling yourselves, its not going to happen.

I doubt it would be like that. (it looks slick) which is not Lakon's style. Plater had a good design that looked Lakon like.

Its one of the ships from the Elite Dangerous artbook. And since we already know what the panther clipper looks like the picture I posted is closer to being a lakon ship. Also I cant find the post you are refrencing by plater.

Good lord, what is this? More player masochism? Don't you get enough of it in this game in real life that you need to pile on more?!

In all seriousness, no. Some of us like being collectors. Some of us have a lot of ships by doing this. What's the point of punishing those players that store more than one ship? Other than to create more salt for all the wrong reasons.
