Hard to decode.

It does kinda look like 3 "words", possibly each of 6 chars?

But I'm getting stuff like

?jobrt rsst?? njlsoz

The purrs still seem to be doing the no repeating triple thing so on the face of it no massive changes there.

So for ease of use here's the output of Bouffant's morse from IES DARK REGION GWW D152

-----------------------------------------------------

HHJGKG HHKGNG HHNGMH

As numbers

8-8-10-7-11-7 8-8-11-7-14-7 8-8-14-7-13-8

-----------------------------------------------------

Interesting that it's groups of 6. Also interesting that each has the HH(88) header. And the rotating pairs - the JG gets replaced by the KG and the NG is revealed on the end, then the KG gets replaced by the NG, revealing the MH on the end, it's like pairs of letter (or numbers) are scrolling right to left with a constant HH header.

Looks a bit like it is counting. If you swap the rotating pairs, you get: GJ GK GN HM.

Increesing values?

My first UA in 1.4, did they always have distortion effects and floaty blue particles... honestly never noticed before.

Anyway this one was found in Aries Dark Region GW-W D1-52. Anybody wants it I'm still floating around there in open. Its slowly eating its way out of my cargo hold!

Someone on my friends list beat you to it. Hes going to try and get it bk to inhabited space to sell it. In the short time i had it it managed to take around 40% off my power distributor and cargo hatch! Good thing i have AFMUs! Currently looking for another one!

anyone successfully rob one of these yet?

I did in the Beta (& posted here on the thread). It took Anuranium, myself & another CMDR several tries to pop it & scoop. The "Scientific Research" was an unimpressive plain canister & had a very poor value (~150Cr IIRC) value on the Black Market. We had hoped to drop it with UA for giggles, but the Beta data is gone now.

If its counting is it counting down ? If you record the same UA in the same place tomorrow will the count have changed ? Just a thought !

To me it looks like it is counting up, bu I don't know.

If it is two bit base 26 (or 27 with zero), it should be easy enogh to decode with a few samples.

I have a feeling it is not that simple.

if this is base 10 ie 0-9 would H not be 7 rather than 8 Etc Etc ??????

If you want another one... Aries Dark Region gw-w d1-52. I'm currently parked next to yet another. Not gonna scoop it this time... just sitting back and listening to its whale song!
