noticed one difference in spikes:
broken material spike glowing (on the left), meta alloy spike doesn't (right one)

pal_bar_spikes.jpg

it seems - material spike still alive, ripe spike - isn't

Crikey.

Looks like two Cutters + one Dropship at Merope 5C now. =/

Just popped in and was attacked within 30 seconds, dead 30 seconds after that.

I had someone in a Cutter tell me I should leave immediately yesterday.

Called in my Anaconda debating about taking off and then attacking the guy, but as soon as my ship came into land he instantly shot at it....

I did take some guy out however, he jumped in and starting shooting SRV's in a Diamondback, unfortunately for him I was in my ship :D

Gets frustrating though, especially since the Barnacles don't seem to be spawning in Solo/Private, for me anyway. Anyone else getting this?

Are we paying enough attention to this? Some have read it that MB typed nebula instead of nebulae, but 'relates' is clearly singular, so I doubt it was a mistake. So in what way might the Pleiades relate to the barnacles' origin? (and I doubt it has anything to do with symbols on crashed ships)

Orion nebula anyone?

The mark may be the LMC, but we can't go there. It's an image on the sky box.

It does not matter, because MB 'told' us that the barnacles comes from a Nebula.

I don't believe the LMC is related to the barnacles, but your logic is wrong. Look up the Tarantula Nebula.

Edit: well of course that is unreachable too, so it was a bit much for me to say wrong logic.

I am transcribing this as : 0110110101011010011011001010100101010

(...)

it could be meaningless, I think we hit a dead end and felt that was the conclusion with the UA, but well maybe it's not. =p

If the sound is completely regular, it could be a lot easier to interpret than the 6-7 bit sequences we used to obtain from the UA.

I would be inclined to think that 00 and 11 are binary ones, and single 0 and 1 are binary zeroes, or maybe it's morse, where 00 and 11 are long and single 0 or 1 are short.

However, if this is 12 minutes, it would take hours to even spell a simple word in 5, 6, 7 or 8 bit ASCII...

I still think the sequences are not meaningless, but just presented to us in a way that makes them too difficult to interpret.

God Damned griefer almost got me while I was on Merope 5C, I wish I could name and shame, but I think I will report, lucky I was recording my game or I wouldn't remember his name. I had literally just met somebody else there and made a new mate, messing about in srv's, both had an asp explorer. Then a guy must have logged in because he spawned from thin air in an srv. Starts firing on us both, recalls his clipper and starts firing with rail guns onto our parked ships. I asked both times why he fired on us...no response. Must be pretty insecure if this is what makes him feel good.

Interesting, I bet it's pretty much staring us in the face then.

Add CMDR Harry Potter, I have a corvette I can help with tomorrow or Monday if you on, send me a friend request and we can sort something out.

lol, CMDR Harry Potter, trying to look like a nice guy ... but just another guy in a Cutter attacking others without provocation.

I have you on video CMDR Harry Potter, good thing you attacked my Viper in your Cutter while I was just sitting there ;) I hope it wasn't too hard of a fight uh ?

You're just another worthless piece of :):):):) if you ask me ;)

I´ve seen some guy in a cutter too. Wouldn´t be big of a problem. But as he chased me I wasn´t able to fly more than a few hundred meters without that bug where you suddenly land mid flight. I admit, I combat logged, because I really didn´t want to be a fixed targed for some douchbag who can´t let us explore in peace -.-
