Thanks.

So theoretically let's say I fly to Merope 5c or other known location and find it, it means this session is not "bugged"? I imagine there is not certain answer to that, but if it "session-specific" all you would need to do in order to be sure you are free of the bug would be to have such check at the start.

We don't know. Frontier haven't said what is specifically causing the bug. It's just speculation from players and anecdotal evidence at the moment. Best bet is to play in open or wait until it's fixed unfortunately.

Was just online with Clarion_Z and his take on the glowing shell was that it's similar to the glow you get from a ship's hull when you shoot that. Still would have to be something that was deliberately coded for, though - or at least attributes in the in-game object would have to be configured to do it.

I don't know - apart from that it's a bit weird.

Guys, tonight I picked up this sound at about 10 km over the surface of Merope 5c and Maia 2a. I had to turn off the engines to actually hear it properly. Have you heard that before? Is it me or it recalls a bit to the UAs wails?

I've heard that same thing while searching for barnacles. I had the thought that it was probably just the "exploration music" even though I have all music turned off in options. Never got a confirmation one way or another though. It's a bit frustrating when searching for clues and you can't tell what's a bug and what's not.

Yes..look at this video to see correlation between dust cloud and glow: https://youtu.be/ch2_w8TXSmQ

Nm: Question answered, thanks guys.
Sorry for disrupting your conversation a bit right now, but I'm sure some of you might know.
But is this a 'well known POI', with this kind of wreck, w/Scan-able datalink? Two buggies btw.
See the 'blinking red' rack inside the wreck.

I have seen this kind of POI reported before if that is what you want to know.

Not that common, but I remember I've seen it one time at least...

Too many people are asking for hints or proof that there is more to be found.

Examine and explore what we have already, we have probably not found everything there is to know yet and it could be months before any new behaviour is added.

Sorry but when you can not be sure that you are in front of a clue or a bug, there is clearly a problem.

In the last week of driving around in Orion/Barnard's I've seen over 10 of them, unfortunately.
