No worries. I remeber checking a few anomalous reports last year too, but I think they've been updated.
I'm not certain how much time I can devote to this, but I am currently sitting in HIP 32900 just over 280ly above merope. A USS spawned whilst I was fuel-scooping, but was too close the the star for me to feel comfortable dropping in to. Nothing else so far.
Am toying with the idea of getting a second account but I find the store confusing. To have two accounts does one have to have two copies of E
plus two copies of Horizons? or just one E with two Horizons?Correct 2x and 3x distances from Merope would be 270-300ly and 405-450ly. So you should be in the 2x region. If the player was right and indeed somewhere around 400ly above Maia then around 430-450 might be worth a try.

I then went to 450ly out and have already edged myself back to within 400ly. I'm not spending massive times in each system, but I am waiting a while. Have found nothing.
Hardly conclusive, but do you have the link to that Reddit post? Was the poster asked if he did indeed find a UA, or just an SSS. You still get people who see an SSS in an uninhabited system and report they found a UA without dropping in... I think.

Yeah, originally you could have just gotten Horizons for the lot. But since the changes in the store (Horizons as an expansion instead of an upgraded version of the whole game). I had my second account for a while (from a sale) and picked up horizons for it whilst it was £20 shortly after the pricing changes.

It is, but you can't see it because reflected lazor will hit you with x8 damage bonus and 100% ciritcal chance....getting hit with lazorz showing "reflected" rather than "immune"?

there was crashed T9 in horizons first combat livestream. conda and 2 T9 if i remember correctly. They said it's smuggling operation but they look destroyed.
