The JO'H wish to bleed out the systems names one at a time. We hope you guys find something out there. Don't forget to give credit if there is any to be found.System: Taurus Dark Region kc-v b2-1300 ls from sunFound in strong signal source.Discovered by CmdrApeacefulFlower
I'm sorry to say that Taurus Dark Region kc-v b2-1 system is INSIDE the well known UA shell: 146,45 ly from Merope, so between 135 and 150 ly, as usual.
I will check the other system later, but I suspect it will fall inside the shell as well.
Anyway, thanks for your effort, CMDRs.
Filthy Salome got me thinking about the prisms shades thing again... If anyone has an old pair of red green 3d glasses ... Might try looking at some of the nebulae in game see if they look more like the barnacle logo? Just a thought... Will work on finding / making a pair again tonight
Maybe you just need a tinted visor? ;-)

We have had a game update for live, so perhaps they are spreading outwards. About a week ago I picked one up 149Ly away from Merope. At a loose end so will tootle over later tonight and see where they're at.
So, most distance calculators will provide your total travel distance, which is obviously incredibly relevant to travelling. What I guess isn't explicit is that the 135-150LY shell is "as the crow flies". The only reliable way I've found which will do that is to physically fly to the system and then, from the Galaxy Map, mouseover Merope and check the distance... most route calculators won't do distance between two arbitrary stars, only distance from Sol.Live. Found on the Xbox one version of the game.
*Edit: We used a distance calculator that measured out 168.99 lightyears. Is there another way to confirm this. We want to be 100% sure.
Is it possible to just adjust the color levels of your monitor to get the same effect or am I under-thinking it?
That's still within the shell, as Riz mentioned (135-150LY)
