urr huston we have a HUGE problem. There are now defense turrets around the barnacle in merope with teh battlecruiser over it.

Exactly. Which I think is fun and harmless.
Just took out the turrets there... nothing... different. I took a UA there but it rolled down the hill -_- yay... also i think the turrets are procedural because there placed weirdly. ALSO the feds dont own those turrets.

If i remember correctly you just need to know Palins location From qwent and then you can buy them from palins base

I"m not sure, But lets say you get the coords I think it either doesnt spawn till you know of it Or is persistant but its very likely you wouldnt be able to land at all(since it wouldnt even be in your nav list at all/you don't have permissions yet)

Well if a planet is not explored or scanned but has a land-able base on it. if you land on the planet you can select it then take off and fly to it.
Tinfoil warning. Perhaps it's constantly actively scanning 1000m around itself at all time. We can only scan one object at a time. If two pilots fly inside the 1000m boundary at the same time are they scanned at the same time?

OK just been speaking to someone who does not do the forums he said he found a barnacle in the Bubble nebula!!!
You know, if nothing else the UA's have a practical use. I've been dropping one from time to time to see which way my ship is facing in relation to Merope on the galaxy map. Using that and a random jump destination I can pinpoint where on the map an interesting looking star formation off in the distance is.
