Understanding the Negative Feedback

Also to add to the above.
I actually do moan sometimes about lack of content, in fact i have not played for a week due to this.
But, i still think the joy i have had so far (over the last few months) is well worth the £50 beta i paid, i will always have this game to play again, i can wait for what i want to come to the game (if it comes), and i will still buy the expansions to try as well.

I have bought games before and finished them within a week, i have bought games that were rubbish and not touched them.
At least i can say i got value from ED.

Actually among the doom and gloom, that is a really good point !
I think I had my share also , think it was 100 quid, cant remeber, but played it for 8 months (+ 350 hours), so I suppose I got my values worth
Good point

I'm in for £125. For that price I'll get all future expansion packs for free - i feel like I've got a great deal.

What makes you think there will ever be an expansion pack? Frontier spent your and everyone else's £125 long ago. Who is going to pay for development of an expansion pack? You?

Are you their accountant?

No. I don't need to be. Frontier's latest accounts show the company is losing money at about a quarter of a million pounds a month. Meaning they aren't selling anywhere near enough copies of ED to pay the team.

That's not something I wanted to read..... :(

As was mentioned in this thread, having a "playground" with some toys tossed out and being told "Go out and play" is just fine and dandy. I like how the game is designed.

All I am waiting for is the future "Wings" update and the ability to text/chat (reliably) with other players. My brother and I do our weekly chats (He lives several states away) while we are gaming online.
