Happy to share that our interim stability update for Elite Dangerous 'Live' is due for deployment on Tuesday, August 29.

Please note: This is our intended plan, however there is always a possibility that plans can change. We'll keep you informed if anything shifts o7

• Update 16.01 will release Tuesday, August 29 2023.
  • 07:00 BST – In game server downtime warning broadcast will start.
  • [NEXT] 09:00 BST – Elite Dangerous 'LIVE/4.0' Servers will go offline and the Update 16.01 update notes will become available as close in alignment to this time as possible - please forgive any minor delays with update note delivery, should there be one. You'll be kept closely informed.
  • 13:00 BST – Elite Dangerous 'LIVE/4.0' Servers will return online and Update 16.01 will be Live and available for you all.

• Steam: Approximately 186.4 MB
• Epic: Approximately 276 MB

As before, each "storefront" has its own rules in some way when it comes to 'package size'. Any differences are not indicative of differing content.

Greetings Commanders.

We're to schedule nicely this morning with the in game server broadcast warning a-go.
I've updated the checklist above and also added in the information that was pending for the Epic download size. Anything further in terms of information regarding 16.01 specifics will follow in the update notes themselves, from approximately 09:00 BST when the servers are planned to go down.
