Universal Limpet Controller stopped collecting during mining

Hello,

Just been doing a spot of 'roid mining with my Panther and, not 5 mins in, the collectors decided to stop collecting. I'm sitting here with a load of ore drifting by. 4 of my collectors are just ignoring it and the other 4 have collected it but are refusing to add it to the cargo hold. Collection and refining was working perfectly but it just stopped after a few mins. I have 1t in the cargo hold and one hopper is at 87%. I tried restarting the controller and launching more limpets but they too will not collect the ore. Nothing is in the ignore list in targeting and the cargo hatch is open and I have loads of cargo space remaining but limpets are just not interested.

Am I doing something wrong or is the Uni Controller code just broken and I need to swap it for a couple of regular ones?

the only thing i know of that stops limpits collecting is like u mentioned the closed(disabled) hatch or the hold is full of limpits and not enough free space
a damged module maybe..............(of course theres always a bug and this wont be the first time limpits have thrown the toys out the pram.......)
i do know that subsurface missiles need powers set to wepons to work but i dont think thats a factor for normal limit operation
i would try swaping out that ulc anyhoo for cause effect to see if that is the issue?

Has your refinery run out of space? You could try emptying one of the bins.

Thanks for the suggestions, it turns out that things were randomly adding to my 'ignore' list. At first I was wondering if I could've triggered this except that I wasn't actually touching the computer when the problem started. AFAIK the only way for things to be on the ignore list is for me to manually select them and add. So, I left the area I was mining, cleared the ignore list, restarted the controller and returned. So far it seems to be behaving normally, well almost normally - collector limpets seem to be dying for no good reason before they expire, even though they're not hitting the ship or the 'roids.

i have been caught on that before, but never had ignore list making its own mind up,only you can do that, still suppose it could happen, worth checking as you mine you may of ignored the wrong element,o well youre fixed np.

I've never found a way to clear the ignore list other than when an ignored item is in the contact list. (I wish I had found a way.)
How were you able to do it?
