Newcomer / Intro [Unknown Bookmark Symbol] : What does it mean?

Hi

I noticed there are two types of Bookmark Symbols

The Purple Symbol is clear to me that it is the Engineer, and the flag (of what I know) is the normal Bookmark Symbol.
But what does the Arrow down mean on the bookmark symbol?

And is there any topic, page or manual about those symbols?

Any input is much appreciated!

As Screemonster mentioned, lets say you place a bookmark on a station in a system, it will show the mark with an arrow to signify you've marked something inside the system which could be anything via planet, station, surface point, ect...ect.. When you select the system marked as such and view the system it will show the marked object you've marked within.

I assume that was a typo but since this is the newcomer's sub-forum I think it should be pointed out that you cannot bookmark a point on a planet's surface* apart from surface ports and settlements (some of them anyway). Excuse me for highlighting this but I wouldn't want to confuse newcomers due to auto-correct. ;)

* Although this facility has been asked for many times.

Very much appreciated Para Handy! Thank you times the amount of stars in the galaxy!

It's very awesome to see how this community is helpful towards newcomers and it's a good motivation to keep going on even if the learning curve is quite challenging!

But tbh. I like that!
