Ooof, I’ve got a few…
1. Domestic species are one of the most obvious gaping holes in this game’s roster. The only sections of a realistic zoo that we cannot even begin to create are children’s zoos/barnyards, which are commonplace in the majority of zoos across the world. Without domestic species, we cannot build realistic zoos.
2. Europe is heavily underrepresented. Whilst all the other continents at least have their most iconic predator, largest land animal and a handful of filler species, Europe is only filler at the moment. With no Eurasian Brown Bear or European Bison, Europe’s two most charismatic and recognisable animals, we will never be able to build a complete and dedicated European area.
3. The Twilight Pack is an amazing pack, and a lot of the hate towards it was just bitterness over not getting the Tasmanian Devil.
4. The Tasmanian Devil was not the most necessary inclusion for the majority of its time at the top of the meta wish-list. Whilst I’m glad it’s in the game, and I agree it was a brilliant addition, I don’t think it should’ve been a priority over the Porcupine or a lot of other more commonly kept and interesting species that it managed to surpass.
5. We need more primates. At least a dedicated pack to monkeys alone. Most of the primates we have are apes, and one of the only monkeys in game is unusable for most realistic builders. Monkeys should be a priority now.
6. Animals that are somewhat similar to species already in game, whilst not a priority, are still valuable additions. They give us choice in what species to use in our zoos, instead of having ‘one tiger’ or ‘one wolf’ option to use in every zoo.
That’s it for now! If I think of anymore, I’ll be sure to update!
