Unregistered comms beacon in [spoiler]

"Exploration" is possibly not the best place to post this find, but arguably the least non-fitting:p

I stumbled upon an unregistered comms beacon in
Iburoana

. After doing an FSS and nav beacon scan I saw in my nav panel, but I can't remember if any or both scans are required.

Anyway, I learned from the Canonn page these beacons contain little secrets and I didn't see this particular beacon listed on their page, so I assume it's a new discovery. The canonn page says you have to be there at the right time and listen to NATO letters ... sorry, I couldn't be bothered, but if someone likes to investigate I'm sure to read any follow ups ;)

Yeah, sorry - meant to post here as well - the UCB gives the code to decode the message in local news. But since all the Heralds were removed years ago the puzzle is broken - but probably points to the ambush as you say.

Someone also realised (after 5 years!) that UCB play based on your local system time - so for these ones that only play every few hours you can change your local computer time to check the message at any time - which is handy, if somewhat unexpected :D

Makes sense. These POIs slipped my eye - I saw them but thought they were these "pirate activity" pois found in systems of civil unrest.
