Unspecified refunds?

I am HAEMORRHAGING money through refunds. I thought with the update I could see the problem and maybe see where this is occurring but all my refunds are "unspecified" which doesn't help me.

Does anyone know what this means?

Also my animals are escaping inside the pens and still glitching to the outside. There are more animals outside the pen than people, or at least that is what it feels like.

It's the same for me. I had a very profitable franchise zoo and now, without touching anything (because I hadn't played since yesterday), I have refunds above 100k. So, I clicked on the people who leave the zoo and, indeed, most of them leave it very dissatisfied. They are well drunk, eaten and no pee but they all have something in common, the following quote: "I wish I could have stayed longer for watching X animal" (or whatever it is in English, since I play in Spanish). So... men, what is making people to leave my zoo so soon? they have everything they need: facilities, security, animals, transport rides... but they leave saying that they would have wanted to stay longer... I feel powerless against this kind of "dissatisfaction" which is driving my zoo to bankruptcy :(

Wish I could help you @Traffyl, but I haven't had any "unspecified" refunds occur to try to trouble shoot a reason on this end.

Did you close your zoo recently enough that people may be still leaving from when it was closed? If you click the close button, even if you then reopen it shortly thereafter, everyone that queued the action to leave will continue to leave and it can take some time for all of them to clear out.. Perhaps the game is categorizing those folks leaving as "unspecified refund" instead of zoo closure refunds if the zoo is no longer closed. That's the only thing I can think of that would make people not be able to spend more time in the zoo, unless it is just super small so they ran out of things to see.

Mmm.. now that you mention maybe it has something to do with that. I mean, I closed my zoo (I had 3k guests before) and I reopened it when I had 16 guests still in there (because they were "trapped" in a transport ride queue). So.. I guess it has something to do with that, altough it's obviously some kind of issue because almost everyone who leaves now says that, not only 16 guests, but I'll try closing again my zoo until it's completely empty and I'll see if it's solved. Thank you!!

@Jaggid Edje At first I thought that maybe it had something to do with the closure because, indeed, I closed my zoo yesterday and then I reopened before the zoo was completely empty, just 16 people inside. So I have just tried closing my zoo again, (now until it's completely empty) and reopening but it keeps happening, the new guests leave the zoo just 10 minutes after entering saying the same thing: I wish I could have stayed longer for seeing X. So... I guess I'll report this issue. Thank you anyway :)

@Bobble2017 No, I have many ATMs, and that was not a problem at all until today. In fact they leave the zoo with much money and no needs of drink, food, pee or education. They just simply leave after 10-15 minutes for no reason, sad because they have not seen X animals. And asking for a refund. Illogical

@Jester Day I've just checked that and... well yes, I have some animals in my trade centre (mostly 0,0 y/o animals that appear there magically) but I don't think that's my problem because, for example, I have just seen people saying that they would have wanted to see Okapis and Gorillas, and I have neither Okapis or Gorillas in my trade centre, these animals are happily roaming in their enclosures, and I have not moved them ever. :ROFLMAO: I have "peculiar" guests I guess...

That is really odd. I asked because what I mentioned seems to be a thing guests really, really hate. You can have surplus animals there, but not animals you have in your zoo.

Then your problem is even more curious. Your one-way glass isn't the wrong way around or something silly like that :p?

Yah, I agree with @Jester Day in that it sounds like something is causing them to not be able to "see" some of the habitats. Either a one way glass issue, or a path issue, or maybe even just that it is too far to walk with nothing interesting along the way...so they won't do it.

Haha nope, I have people all over the zoo so the paths are apparently Ok and no people stuck. In fact, there are people seeing the same enclosures that other people are "unable" to see. It's not an one-way glass issue, because it happens, for example, with exhibits animals too and definitely not the distance because I have a good network of monorrails... and well, not only that because, for example, my gorillas enclosure is close to the entrance and there are many people seeing them correctly... Besides, they are annoyed because they have not seen not only one certain species, but also I have seen in their thoughts almost all the species that I have in the zoo, from crocodiles to snails, gorillas, wolves... So, I think that my guests have become definitely silly because yesterday they loved my zoo, today they hate it, that's life. :ROFLMAO:

I also had guests leaving dissatisfied. They wanted to see an animal species which was not in my zoo but only in my trade center. I placed this animal in an habitat and this solved the problem for me.

Does this also apply to animals I have left in storage for my next generation too even if I have animals of the same species out?

Not that I have noticed Charlady. As long as all the species you have in storage (both in exhibits and trade) also exist in your actual zoo, it seems to be fine (for me at least).

I am expiriencing both problems. I finally made my zoo profitable and had 50.000 $ A few impossible escapes by my new zebras (they went straight through a fence) and fleeing visitors, I was down to 10.000 $. Now the money is draining because the visitors want their money back although they are barely dissatisfied.
Waiting for a patch now.

I've paid attention to visitors leaving my zoo and I actually see a lot who have the message "I wish I could have stayed longer" to see animal x, y or z. In all cases they are animals I do have, but I think the visitors just ran out of time in their stay and never got to them. I've had NO refunds for this though, the visitors have left happy despite that thought being in their thoughts queue and they haven't requested refunds.

My zoo is currently running at average guest happiness of 90% and averages only ~$390.00 per year in refunds, all under the category of unhappy with visit.

On one of my projects, my guest count tanked and refunds skyrocketed. Without any action from me and just loading the zoo, I went from $20,000 / yr to ($30,000) /yr.

This was a zoo I had to bail out at the previous patch by firing half my staff, cutting keeper visits to 3 months, and building an exhibit animal farm.

At this point, I'm done with that zoo.

You could be seeing increased refunds due to animals escaping. We've identified this as a bug and will have a fix for that shortly! Once that's out the refunds should be more manageable!

It sounds like they think that stored animals should be somewhere in your zoo. For instance, and it doesn't say that's in your case, when you move a stressed animal to your store, the protesters will still come treating it as it's in your zoo.

Maybe animals that are in you zoo's store, having the zoo's name behind on the zoo list, are treated like if they are in your zoo, though they have never been there.
