Update 1.1.0 - 'Goodwin Arctic Research Park' - guests stuck walking in place on pathway

I've got a large number of guests stuck walking in place on the pathway running along the Dall Sheep enclosure. Replacing the pathway over the top of the existing one fixes the problem for a bit, but they soon get stuck again (see pics) - I've restarted the scenario from scratch and the guest who are already in the zoo when the scenario starts are SAYING they are stuck and unable to move (see last pic) Guests are now stuck at entrance as well and have clumped. Guests are also now falling from the sky.

I have reported this on the Issue Tracker but added it to someone else's issue and didn't want to post again, but wanted to post here as well, because it's making the scenario pretty unplayable, and the Issue Tracker doesn't seem to move issues along very fast. The problem is the pathway already in place, so not one I've placed myself. Guests aren't walking any where else and therefore aren't donating, buying etc.

Edit: Actually guests are getting stuck all over the place.

Not trying to boost own thread but have added more to information to the op - guest problem much worse on second attempt at scenario and now seems properly broken.

Out of interest (partly because this is so frustrating and I want to fix it) is there any way this could be to do with my PC and is there something I could do? Bar getting a new PC, which I can't afford.

Are they stuck, or do they turn around because they are cold and because everybody turns around at the same spot, does it look like they are stuck, but it's maybe to crowded?

edit: never mind, I see them wave their hands on the screenshot.

edit 2: can they still exit the zoo?

@Luuknoord - they aren't all behaving in the same way, tbh. But I need to observe them more closely I think. I get the feeling sometimes some of them 'escape' and I think they can leave the zoo then, but i'm not certain.

Interestingly, I've now changed the pathway from the flat wooden boards to that round log segment one, if you know what I mean? That allowed some of them to move for a bit, but now they are stuck but more spread out.

Thank you for trying to help me btw, it's so so frustrating. :_(

Depends on what the specs of your computer are. I have a feeling that processor and MB is very important for this game, and graphics card less if you don't mind animals being a bit blurry on low settings. If I had the money, I would go for better processor. I think my I7 has a bit of problems with the pathing calculations for humans and animals.

Had the same issue yesterday. For me it helped to remove the path they are standing on. that moves them back to the entrance (you can redo the path afterwards). a few were stuck on the entrance after this. i moved every single one of them and this bug disappears.

It happened in my zoo after i removed some shops. I think those were missing targets and the AI couldnt solve the problem/calculate a new way/target.

I don't think that should be the issue.

Out of interest, what are your specs Magenpie?

I have a i5-6500 / GTX1050ti / 8GB RAM and I am not experiencing any lag or something, and I don't have guests stuck on paths. I know my setup is midrange, but I run the game on high.

@Luuknoord - this is where everyone points and laughs at me, I suspect x)

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six Core Processor
16 GB RAM
But...
Radeon RX 480

I just can't afford a better graphics card at the moment.

That cannot be it. Graphics cards sure can make the game lag, but most definitely can not cause "calculation" bugs.

I'm guessing both terrain and path configuration for that specific point on the path is broken.

Maybe removing the path and just slightly adjust the terrain (Level to foundation maybe), could help.

Hooray (so far at least!!) Did as you suggested and removed all the main pathways from the entrance and throughout. Flattened the terrain - which made things go a bit peculiar in some spots but nvm. Also removed any gubbins like donation boxes etc away from the corners. Then replaced the pathway (badly) and it worked!!

Guests now moving freely along pathways and even using my crappy reindeer viewing area to get out of the cold.

Thank you so much again!!
