These are great fixes, now if only we could have two or more JP era helipads in Sandbox mod so that we can utlize our bigger islands since walk ways and Jungle Exploerer paths can't cross.

I love the changes I can't wait for what comes next from Frontier. Also we're going to need some new terrain tools followed by scenery items that include new trees like what we see in planet zoo. That's basically what I would be satisfied with for any future updates to the game. I wish the pteranodons would also just fly around the map instead of leaving all the time so this way we can watch our beloved flying dinosaurs even drink from the rivers that we make in the game.

Scenery items:
Carolina Bald Cypress Trees-Small Medium and large
New Zealand Tree Ferns-Small Medium and large
Conifer Trees-Small Medium and large

Terrain Tools:
Creating Cliffs
Different Depths of Water

I opened this forum on a mobile phone and I started to scream with joy. Then I realized those are yours ideas only and not reality :( maybe next time

I am currently on break from this game. To those who are playing this game on PC, can you hear the following?

"Sure it might look cute to someone, I guess, but this little monster, uh, dinosaur, sorry, called Compsognathus, or Compy, is a vicious carnivore. Which means I like it. In a cage. As far away from me as possible." - Cabot Finch

"I still have trouble believing airplanes can fly, so don't get me started on this Pteranodon. But fly it does. Oh, and it is also known as a 'toothless wing'. Toothless, huh? Yeah, I'm not buying that either." - Cabot Finch

"Well, this is more my speed... a Parasaurolophus. Its distinctive crested head presents a challenge to scientists... an evolutionary dead-end that we now realise is highly effective. This is what Jurassic research should be about." - Dr. Kajal Dua

"Mmm, the Gallimimus! Dr. Grant was obsessed with your latest creation. He believed this dino was one of the closest genetic relatives to the modern avian species." - Dr. Ian Malcolm

"Ah, yes. The 'tyrant lizard'. The Tyrannosaurus rex. Favorite of early century fiction writers and adolescent children everywhere. And why? Because it represents everything we fear about the past. It's what we believe that we've conquered, even though it ceased to exist before humanity had reached the proto-ape stage. And that was true. Until now. Until you." - Dr. Ian Malcolm

"Look, raptors get a bad rap because people don't understand that they are, and will always be, alpha predators. Our job is to help them... the raptors... understand that we are as well." - Owen Grady

"I see you've hatched a Triceratops. It might be cute now, but that's only going to last for about a week." - Owen Grady

Hello Chante!! I hope you and the Frontier team are all well in the midst of this pandemic. I'm just curious if we can expect to see any updates in the next couple months in regards to content. Or is Frontier no longer producing any further content for JWE? You all have provided wonderful DLCs, and updates, and am extremely grateful to the team for their dedication to making the game what it is and to the fan base. Do we look to modders to create new content?

Hello Chante !! I hope that you and a Frontier team are right in the middle of this pandemic. I'm curious as to whether we can wait in the coming months regarding the content. Or is Frontier no longer producing additional content for JWE? You all provide wonderful DLCs and updates and are extremely helpful to the team for their dedication to making the game or fan base. Are we looking for modders to create new content?

I want to know too ... There are many changes in the quality of life that the game needs and we are looking forward to good news.

I totally agree with ya. I'm curious as to what improvements regarding the quality of life are. When they herbivores' panic they should run/flock in herds like when they come together to socialize. It would also be great to see the Brachiosaurus & other sauropods rear up on their hind legs as depicted in the original trailer. Just a couple things I've really been waiting to see.

Apart from the sauropods, only the famous Stegosaurus could rear up on its hind legs. I had suggested about more Pteranodon activity in the aviary such as eating. We wonder when the next dinosaur or expansion DLC come out. Let us pray that we do not wait a year for that.

We are already almost halfway through the year and they missed the first quarter. If they had something ready they would have released it by now regardless of the quarantine. I honestly wouldn't care about the timeline or delays if they just told us what they were doing. This whole process of not telling us what is going on with their development has just made me bitter at Frontier because I preordered the game at launch only to wait over a year for them to barely add any meaningful content and seeing the game go on sale for over 75% off. Even though I continually lower my expectations they still manage to disappoint me with each update with stupid things like finally adding decorations BUT only for JP era...which doesnt have half of the already limited buildings JW era has so you get shorted either way.

No AAA developer company on this entire planet, including them, is going to ever share or risk getting shared publicly what they are working on (or at least hint frequently to great extents without disclosing further details) if it's new content before official reveal. Not unless it's a special event for early access for certain individuals or open for everyone, or if it's a MMOG feature type game as those games need a constant healthy active consumer base more than single player exclusives, like Elite Dangerous for example, Frontier's first actively post-launch developing game which they do what you wish for regarding new content. Try looking for the same thing for their Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo which are one-player only games, and it is just the same as this game. Exceptions may exist out there, but that's all they are.

That is not an excuse and it doesnt change the fact that I have lost faith in them because of it. Frontier has nothing to lose by giving a rough timeline of what they currently are working on and how far along they are to adding said feature. Considering that the base game has already been released for a year there is no need to be secret as to what they are doing to improve it. Frontier has made many great changes in the course of the year that the community begged for and it would have helped their credibility if they simply said "we are working on X fixes/features and have made X progress so far". Otherwise you leave everyone in the dark if said things are ever going to be fixed or included which hurts them in the long run.

JWE in particular had such low ratings when it was released and many people rightly did not buy it because of that. You would think Frontier would go out of its way to show that they are going to make changes to fix that.

Fisrt off, lmao @ ASS THICC.... I low key chuckled inside. Off top, I get where you comin from. I can't recall off the dome what the ratings were at the time it was first released, but we were all geeked up for a game like this. Granted we know games are always going to improve on the base game overtime #facts. Updates and DLCs are necessary and show the fans that they want to improve upon the content. I cain't lie, it woulda been nice to have some sorta timeline to keep us abreast of upcoming amendments rather than looking to people who leak information and find out that leak to be true once DLC comes out. We also don't know what kind of limitations and restrictions Universal executives had to say. I work in entertainment and it can bind your hands in some ways especially when you partner and are in contractual agreements with LARGE corporations. For the project I was working on, if Netflix executives didn't like it or approve it, we had to change it. So I'm not sure how much creative control they had on this project. Who knows what NDA's had to be put in place with Universal. Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo are different narrative. I guess we'll never really know.
