Update 1.2.1 out now

Fortunately I haven't run into the thirst issue as yet, but I have noticed the habitat cleanliness one. It seems to go away if you call a keeper to the habitat (improved keeper AI?) but yes it is happening a lot.

Same here.

Thank you for this quick update!

I do also have the Problem with dirty Enclosures. I think, I will just not go into my Main-Zoo until the next Update. Maybe I will continue my Antarctic Zoo if it doesn't crash anymore like it did the last time I updated the Thread about it and hope that I don't get the same Problems there. I don't want to risk losing all of my Flamingos (more than 100) to Diseases.

thanks for the update, i have a small capuchin habitat, very small and they are refusing to drink, so it may not be the mesh, as pausing doesn't help either, adding a water source only temp fixes it because in five minutes they ignore it again, I'm in sandbox mode so they wont die, but i hate getting the notifications and i cant find any setting to turn them off, thanks anyways - zizzle8383

What about aardvarks not being able to use the natural termite mound? Should I report that to the issue tracker or is it intentional?

There seems to be a persistent bug with the new Capuchin monkeys - they are in a lush and adequate enclosure and a beautiful Machu Pichu inspired Sandbox park. Plenty, too many, water bowls and a body of water - yet I get (annoying) constant messaging stating that nearly every one of them is dehydrated. Many have died and no matter what i do, vets, more water devices and bodies of water - they just die. Is it just me and the enclosure - I wonder - I feel bad that nearly every one has died. LOVE THIS SUPER GAME, THANKS FRONTIER - Regards G

It's a already known Bug. It even happened before the Update but for some Reason it now happens way more frequently than before. It was mentioned that the People at Frontier already try to find a Solution. You can prevent the Death for some time if you put them into Quarantine. They will automatically get Food and Water in there

Thanks for the fast update! Sadly my largest franchise zoo's still crashing to desktop while loading which didn't happen before the update/dlc yesterday, hope you'll be able to find a fix for that as well, since I put quite a lot of work in that zoo and would be sad to loose it :(
Are your crashes specific to the one zoo? I'm still crashing in every zoo and even in the main menu :( I miss this game! Q.Q

Not sure if this helps, but I've run some tests and I've found that when the game freezes up, GPU usage is spiking, and power usage/power usage trend are both "very high". I saw these GPU usage spikes even in the main menu. I will try turning down graphics and see if that helps. I noted a lot of duplicates of this issue in the Issue Reporter, so a lot of us are experiencing this -- if anyone finds a workaround, please, share it!

That lowered base GPU usage from high 60s to low 40s. However the game still froze and GPU spiked to around 49-52%. So the freeze happens even with lower graphics and doesn't actually have to do with the GPU usage being too high, but it does cause GPU to spike when it happens.

Having the same issue, no matter the graphics setting even on the lowest I still get the short freezes. Started happening since the update.

I tried lowering my settings all the way, disabling steam cloud sync, and deleting all saves and profiles. Still freezing even in the main menu. I give up :(

For some reason my Giraffes get no food at all, the keeper will not fill the food cages and also not fill the Suspended high grazer feeder. It's a mixed habitat with Plains Zebra, Thompson Gazelle, Sable Antelope and Springbok so no idea what is causing the issue but they get no food and starve to death. Its mostly the food cages that get no fill though, sometimes very rarely they get food in the suspended high grazer feeders.

Btw I gues the adventure ride was not fixec withthe last 2 patches, if you have an adventure tour with 1 station guests still get suck on it because they try to get closer to another habitat but cant because when they arrive back at the station they are back where they were. This has been an issue for a couple months now.

Did you already try if it helps when you delete the Food-Items for the Giraffes? My Giraffes share their Enclosure with Zebras and a extremely big Herd of Springbok and last Time I've played in that Zoo, I saw a Giraffe eating Food that was placed on the Ground

Tried that, its the keeper not filling the food cages and sometimes the high grazer feeders.
