Update 1.4.3 Out Now!

Spoilers have a reason, though :) Feel free to open a new speculation thread and I might add my opinion to it. Currently, I only want that bug fixed, to be honest. On a side note: The original climbing bug with the climbing structures not being calculated seem to be fixed in this update. I at least didn't expierience it the last three times I opened my zoo.

Speculation isn't really a spoiler.

Nope, but the reason why I didn't post it openly in THIS thread that is about the update, but left it as a side note. Obviosuly, people don't get why I did that and still discuss it here, after Heather asked us poliely to leave it on topic. I overestimated the willpower of users to left a sidenote unaswered IN THIS THREAD or open a discussion thread (which I didn't, because it can be very well just an annoying bug that I want the Devs to know of so it can be fixed!. )I learned my lesson. Sorry Heather.

So again, dear Devs: The climing animals are marked as escaped when they climb a tree within their habitat and are not escape. nor can escame over the boarder. Dear users: If there is already an open ticket, please link me to it. Thank you very much.

Has anyone on here already made a ticket about the bug, that marks climbing animals as escaped when they are in trees and stuff, even though they are NOT out of the habitat and therefore NOT escaped? If so, I'd be happy to get a link, so I can contribute.

Height calculation out of the water, huh? I smell flying birds.

There's this issue, which is about animals escaped although they are clearly still in the habitat: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/22316

Regarding your spoiler, what are you talking about?

No for me. The reason why DLC has appeal is because of the building pieces/scenery. Only animals would be boring.
For me the new scenery is boring :/ from any of the existing DLC's i probably use 15, max 20 % of scenery pieces, others just don't have a use for me. In general i have more then enough to make anything i imagine. Animal variety is my biggest problem right now :) and to small trade market :D

After further investigation, we will not be re-enabling multi-select in Franchise Mode with this update. This is due to a compounded issue with clicks not registering which we want to address. For those experiencing this issue, a temporary workaround of clicking the very bottom edge of a button can sometimes work. For further updates please continue to check here on the forums and on our social channels!

Please continue to share your issues on our Issue Tracker! We will continue to fix any of those troublesome bugs that aren't held in an exhibit. As a reminder, please also keep sharing your feedback on our official forums.
Hey!

Always appreciate a new update thank you team.

A request though, can we please get a No Litter optionnfor sandbox mode, we been asking since launch for this option.
And please add a no Water Temperature Regulator option or something, we got options so we dont need water cleaner and we dont need power now you guys added the Water Temperature Regulator so now we are stuck having to redo our beautifull sandbox zoo's because we need this machine for the water. Please give us the option so we dont need to put this down.

Hey, we understand the desire for multi-select but we think addressing the unregistered clicks first is something important for our awesome Zookeepers.
It´s called testing your game after implement something new.... ever heard of it?
This shows that NOBODY in the Frontier team tested this option to see if it would be workable.

I noticed the lack of any type of news on DLC future patches. What's going on. Is this game now a dead duck. The info from mods used to be so good. Come on Frontier...
Don't expect any progress update until mid-march. The aquatic pack will be 3 month old then, so we'll get the usual "we got something to sell!" communication. They'll be here to find out about the major "big update rolled in" bugs right away. They will fix the worst bugs pretty fast, so the game will be playable again after just a short time and we can all enjoy our 4 new habitat animals and 1 exhibit animal. But after that you got a two weeks time frame to address any other isssues and then it's three month again without communication. If the game is dead after that or not is basically only speculation, because well... with Planet Coaster there wasn't such thing as "end of support" communication.
