i will play around with options some day a bit, but it doesnt look encouraging at all.
check if upscaling method isnt changed to FSR. they tend to set it as default option, and reset with updates to sneakily improve performance at the cost of visual quality. FSR2 can be decent, but not FSR1. Set upscaling method to Normal, if it isnt already.
try using english as your input language in windows (win + space key). ED has weird behavior when it comes to managing non latin characters.
Have you changed (activated/deactivated) services on your FC? Sometimes the livery option becomes unavailable after applying changes to the services. Relogging solves it, normally.

Take a look, gray button does not have system name there, guess empty system is passed from galaxy map to system map when it opens.
Cant update on steam because it says corrupt files. What kind of crap show is this?
Have you tried Properties... / Local Files / Verify integrity of game files... for the game already?
yeah says files are corrupt. I might just uninstall anyway. I haven't played in almost a year and haven't missed it. I have just been keeping it up to date.

New WD SSD drive its only 2 months old. My Store Ed acct on the store launcher updated fine... The steam alt acct is the one im having a problem with
I used to have 2 installs of the game. Only use the Frontier one now to keep the game updated. Don't know why though because I haven't played since they put that 2D screen in and ruined VR.
So if it's only two months old, how have you been updating the install over a year without playing it?
