Update 14: Plot course unavailable over 1000 LY?

Hi!
Sorry if this is discussed already somewhere, but couldn't find on a quick look.
I'm trying the galaxy map for the first time since Update 14, and I see that for some reason it seems any system further than 1000 LY away from my current position is set as "Route unavailable" and doesn't allow plotting a route. Any systems under 1000 LY away allow "Hold (Plot Route)" as before.
Has anyone else experienced this, or is this perhaps a feature controllable somewhere with an option?

EDIT: I found the cause/solution: In Route settings the option had changed (defaulted?) back to "Economical routes (Max. 1k LY)". Changing it back to "Fastest routes (Max 20k LY)" solved the problem for me.

Make sure your route plotting isn't set to "economical". After the update, it defaulted back to that instead of "Fastest".

I've been able to plot a 19000 ly route with the fastest (and jet cone) setting. I'm omw to Colonia with a bunch of high paying VIPs.

For some reason the route plotter got switched to Economical on mine and my son's game, I'm assuming it was to do with the update and that it's possible it wasn't just us?

It was fun to see how many jumps it took to get from Lovoraju to Shinrarta back in the early days before engineering & FSD Boosters.. then I quickly switched it back to fastest.
