Is it time for "are we there yet" memes? Not yet - or at least my Steam client knows nothing about it yet.
Usually, the game files can be updated before the servers are restarted

Looks like you finally realized that all newbies were deliberately slowing down when passing near celestial bodies.- Introduced "Gravity Well" cockpit message to replace "Slow Down" when travelling at excessive speed near celestial bodies.
Is there ever a "wrong" time?Is it time for "are we there yet" memes?
But, but, but "are we there yet?"

If it's available, what the version string (I use GFN so have no control over the download)
I think their mothers were hamsters, and their fathers smelled of elderberries. And here I thought it would be "fart in your general direction".
This is true, I've just got home and I'm wondering how much washing I can hang out before the rain/frost/darkness arrive. Please delay the release a couple of hours, we finally have a sunny day. Thx!
I wouldn't mind if the Thargoid Sensors found in the occasional Non-Human Signature POIs in the black could be interacted with, causing the intervention of their owners.M still hoping that the 'war' does suddenly become galactic once the torpedos have been fired, I guess, then I'd have to be involved in it, rather than able to go about my days innocently whistling as I liberate expensive cargo.
Yes, they mentioned it a month ago.Yeah I did mention in another thread that is has never been confirmed that the new Python would be released with patch 18, but maybe they just forgot to mention it!
"Gravity well bad"If I am near a black hole, will it read "Gravity Bad" now?

IMO the game went down hill when it catered for consol players, the game became more pew pew to suit their game play, especially when CQC was added when the game needed so much more core work done. I haven't got a problem with the Thargoid story line except every update has been about that and no other game inprovements. I remember Sir DB talking in his Dev diaries about Thargoid war and the story lines which never materialised for instance saying that you could actually become allies with them if you didn't want to fight and the game has been going now over 10 years and we still can't land on ELW's, being a backer and an original 84er I don't actually think I will live long enough to see this in game.I too am disappointed that one of the most awaited updates in a very long time seems to only add new content to the segment of players who have gone through the trouble of grinding their AX ships to be able to enter the maelstorms (which excludes me, among many others I'm sure), but I don't see a reason to be so damn negative about it.
At least appreciate that they are still developing the game.
As I've learned, older MSAA and SMAA don't work with modern rendering techniques, resulting in shimmering. MLAA is/was an attempt to have something that kind of works, but is not very good either being a post-processing AA technique. That's why TAA is pretty much the only AA technique used today, but has it's own problems (blurryness, ghosting) and I'm not sure how easy it is to implement in older game engines (it being a temporal, not spatial AA technique). Skyrim SE replaced MSAA in the old 32 bit Creation Engine with TAA in the newer 64 bit version and it works well, but Cobra engine might be very different in this aspect. The last I read was from when the Issue Tracker entry was removed and a "patch note" entry made saying they had tried but couldn't/wouldn't do anything else in regards to fixing the AA.
I think the Mr. Creosote scene is the most disgusting thing the Pythons ever created. Maybe on par with the "can we have your liver" scene and the "Monty Python sings" compilation.LOL... glad that you caught the Monty Python reference, but yes I see the "reference to vomit" now.
But I wonder, does the titan eat a wafer thin mint before it vomits ?
