Update 4 is coming on April, 22nd

Friendly reminder to just put people like that on the ignore list. I don't even see the posts because it says in blue "You are ignoring content by this member" but I remember a few threads ago more people were annoyed by his way of communication and choose to make use of the ignore feature.
There is an Ignore feature?
Nevertheless I agree a bit with the person who said that some are complaining too much. I would not ignore them cause I might miss something in the forum but I have to say, some are really heavy on the complains...and doesn't even play the game...I don't know how we could help. But it seems exhausting.

I know people will reply with (we only trying to push the game to it's max potential.) It might be only a personal point of vue...but guys...It doesn't feel like this, I assure you.
As someone who doesn't come here everyday, I always see the same people complaining about roughly the same things.

And it give an old grumpy stubborn kind of vibe. Just saying...

And I am one of them...

Why am I doing this? Because of not being able to really play the game. Each time I'm starting it and trying to create something, I'll get stopped by various issues. This is frustrating. We're reaching six months after release soon and there are still issues (not missing or wanted new features) since release.

Anybody who's annoyed by negative comments here, should just ignore them. Telling others that complaints are useless is wrong.
If we would stop complaining, Frontier might consider if they are at a point to start reducing capacity for issue fixing...

You'll see, as soon as they'll reach the point of a well working game, the negativity will disappear.

Let's see which fixes will come with the update next week...

What I would like to see in a future update is a boat ride like the one that's in the game but with out the log flume type channel so ewe can put the track underwater and make it look like the boats are actually traveling on the surface of the water instead of a constructed channel Similar to the junngle cruise in Disney World (of course we know they run on a track, but you don't see it.
Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ybSVe8HVFg
. This would add a lot of realiswm to the ride. Of course we would need a variety of Jungle plants and trees as well as Animal animatronics and static animals as well as muddy river water.

BTW why won't Frontier aqllow video links that illustrate your point?

Yes, they should really care about water rides in general...
We definitely need some to place in lakes!

Adding light (construction, kinda invisible) in water channels to existing rides and other new types with under water rails and rope driven boats.

And not sure if this ever would come... free roaming boats (like paddle boats and ferries)

For a muddy river jungle cruise, they already started with color picking for water...

its the same thing like with other users. if these discussion are not for you then dont read along :) nobody forcing you and atleast i for my part dont go on other threas trying to push them down or deny their positive experiences. if the games fine for you then great broski, have fun :D

i have explained multiple times why i keep coming back to frontiers own forums to voice my opinion and share my experience. which is, suprise, for discussions ;)

As I said, I don't want to ignore anything, I kind of agree with the negatives statements, some of them. It just look like some peoples are really hardcore on the negativity.
I might be the old gumpy one here maybe.
I remember when we had video games and no forum to talk to the devs, when we just discovered things and got happy and disappointed in our privates spaces. When we used to liked games for what they were, imperfect (but complete...I have to admit)
So it feel weird to see poeple this touched by the missed opportunities of the game, and it just doesn't look like frustration anymore.
It's looking like something on another level than just frustration.

I'm not telling you how to feel, I just give you the feeling I get when I see some posts.

Oh and by the way...Danny420, I don't enjoy the game...i don't even play it, I too I'm frustrated by the lack of features present in the prequel and PZ.
I really don't like when a company drop a sequel with missing features from the previous ones, and I don't talk about Themes and stuff.
As I already said in another topic, the game is still in an aplha (I would say Beta now) state. I agree, there is still a lot of things to fix and add.

But I don't say it over and over and over and....I hope you get what I mean by that, and that you guys understand my opinion about "complains" now.

But it's a bit sad that people who are struggling with the state of the game aren't complaining...

Nowadays we are able to give feedback and it's a part of the communication to share negative feedback more than everything else (just think about the power of sh*tstorms).

Don't understand me wrong. I'm not forcing anyone to do anything which is in my personal interest...

For sure, not everyone wants to complain again and again (not wanting to spray negativity or just not in the mood to do so). And yes, it's kinda rotating...

I can't figure out how the reviews here would be actually, but it seems that only a view people are complaining, a huge number is silent ("seems" to be fine with the game) and some new people are asking for new features (which are mostly old requests inside this forums)...

I think complaining and saying that further purchases aren't planned because of issues, is the most important way to force Frontier to fix these issues (just my personal opinion).

Some of the curator reviews are a joke because I've noticed some curators recommending every game they review even though some of the games they say are great are just trash. Do they get their games free for giving a favorable review? If so, how did they become curators?

oh tbh i couldnt care less about those reviews. for a long time i feel like those are just total biased and not realy relatable most of times. for example gamestar has given planco 1 a 77, meanwhile park beyond on its release received a 83. planco 2 also currently has 82, which tbh doesnt realy reflect the general opinion of the players on its release. its realy strange thats why i never look for those reviews for any kind of judgement

Perhaps an example of an item that some people might think of as 'just complaining' is the topic of path curbs/kerbs.

Yes, it comes up a lot. But that's because for some people it really is an issue and reflective of how they feel about the game in general - myself included. For others it's not an issue at all and they wonder why some are going on and on about it. It's just that everyone plays the game a different way. What's important to you may be of lesser importance to me in how I play. It's always been that way.

For instance I'm much more into how the game looks visually, so things like path curbs and textures on water rides matter a great deal to me. I'm not a coaster builder, nor am I into the water park aspect, so I don't always understand when other raise concerns about those things. Doesn't mean that I question their validity, I just pay less attention to them even if I fully support their bringing up their concerns. I think all those items are of equal value to those to whom those things are important.

I think that the fact that a number of people raise an issue, and continue to raise an issue, just illustrates how important it is to them and influences Frontier in what they add/fix/tweak in the game. To someone to whom that issue isn't important they may feel like it's just complaining, when actually in most cases it's not, it's making sure that certain things get the attention they feel they deserve. And because Frontier doesn't give feedback as to whether they agree or even are considering it (and I'm one who doesn't believe that they always need to...), people will naturally continue to point out the things they have concerns about, even if it's repeatedly.

Because they care.

I think we all can admit that mentioning something one time and then not bringing it up again isn't going to point out to Frontier that a certain number of people feel this needs attention. There's likely dozens and dozens of suggestions and requests that have been made. Some are supported by many people. It's okay to point that fact out.

Whether Frontier actually addresses those suggestions and requests is a completely different matter, but people should have the freedom to point those things out...even if it seems repetitive to others.

Clearly it is.
Wich is kinda funny because, I miss Kerbless path.
But there is more to the fact that people are repeating themselve, some are a bit to much agressive about it also. And then, I think it send the wrong feeling, I'm not sure that it is the best way to be understand.

I understand what you are saying, and agree in large part with you.

I just sincerely think that if some people come off as being a bit 'aggressive', it's more a sign of their frustrations that this game is perhaps not of the standards they fully expected, based on what we saw in PC1 and certainly in PZ. And when there's the expectation by many that those things we had in PC1 or PZ would also be a part of PC2 but aren't for some reason. Others wonder what the fuss is about because their expectations are filled. That's normal and to be expected.

Frontier is a business made up of professionals. And as such expects the slings and arrows as well as the praises. That's just part of the business. If comments become overly aggressive, then the moderators here would deal with them. Rather than us trying to determine what others can to say - something we have no right to do and which I know isn't what you are suggesting at all - we have the ability to determine what comments we read and how to react to them..Personally I'm not a fan of those comments singing praise of the greatest game ever invented, almost complete with a chorus of lil' nekkid cherub babies singing Halleluias in the background, but other than a possible momentary rolling of my eyes I just ignore them. I fully support their right to post their opinions, even if I may disagree in part or in whole. If it's someone who I think edges into trolling with their posting, I just use the 'ignore member' option.

I fully believe that there is much to love in this game - why else would people continue to bother if they had given up on it? But it's the numerous little things that temper that love for some people. The tweaks and updates that have come out so far are very much appreciated, and I'm hopeful that those continue.

And I'm still hoping that curb/kerbless paths are available someday! Great to have a nice conversation with you EmSay...

lol seriously, how come the only workshop enhancements are ones that ive literally seen nearly no one every ask for...
2 fixes for staff and none of those related to stuck staff or staff zones beeing bugged also? not improvement on the feature of last update where they wont just go on a break and leave the ride on its own? i mean we waited one whole month for this now. less updates, less fixes is that the meta they are going for now? im just so confused by this

ill just leave this here as frontier didnt share anywhere as far as ive seen:

I definitely appreciate the upcoming improvements! Scizzer models are a mainstay at most parks so it'll be nice to have those back...even with the strangely oversized footprint. The restaurants look good too. People have been trying to approximate restaurants with scenery for forever so having them as functional parts of the game is great!

There is a minor bug on display at 13 seconds into the video. Note the railing blocking the catwalk. Something similar seems to happen between sections in the log flume and river rapids too. The game doesn't seem to detect continuous pieces correctly.

Looking at what they did with restaurants gets me excited to see what they do for gift shops and hotels.

At last it appears the mini monorail has been fixed in this update.

It's a shame that there's still no mention of fixing log flume / rapids water textures though.
