I was hoping for a fix to enemy-ships-not-being-flagged-hostile-despite-shooting-at-you, but I guess that's what's meant in the list above (certainly not just a radar problem, turrets do nothing either and NPC fighters just twiddle their thumbs unless specifically commanded to attack despite the inordinate credits they suck up. No initiative, I tell you.)

Appreciate that stability fixes need to come first, though.

At the time of this post (16:15 UTC), our servers have just gone offline while we roll out a hotfix. Downtime is expected to last approximately 30 minutes so feel free to check out which changes are coming while you wait:

Fixes: Odyssey
  • A stability issue encountered while cycling through Fire Groups was fixed.
  • A stability issue when Commanders fly over planetary surfaces was fixed.
  • A crash while encountering Guardian Sentinels at Guardian Sites was fixed.
  • A stability issues caused when opening the Orrery View in the System Map was fixed.
  • An issue preventing Commanders from restocking ammo for the Scorpion SRV after being destroyed was fixed.
  • An issue affected textures on the Scorpion turret (while being used) was fixed.

Fixes: Horizons (PC & Console)
  • A stability issue encountered while cycling through Fire Groups was fixed.
  • A crash encountered while attempting to access modules in Outfitting was fixed.
  • A text error regarding a new Community Goal-related commodity was fixed in English and French.
  • A crash while encountering Guardian Sentinels at Guardian Sites was fixed.
  • A stability issues caused when opening the Orrery View in the System Map was fixed.

Known Issues

The above fixes are designed to address the bulk of stability-related issues that arose following Update 9. We’re aware of other issues and are currently planning how to address them. They include but are not limited to:

  • Hostile ships not being correctly marked on the radar
  • Some deceased NPCs cannot be scanned or analysed
  • “Floating” Guardian Materials at Guardian Sites
  • The on-foot tutorial not completing
  • Multi Limpet controllers having more mass than Commanders expected
  • The Scorpion SRV is affected by texture issues around the chassis

The team is continuing to work hard on investigating issues and implementing fixes. As always, thank you all for your feedback and issue reports.

Are fire-groups restored or do (Horizon ?) users need to configure them manually? Would using another binds file help? Thanks in advance for all the work and the quick response. (y)

Have you had any reports of Odyssey Bio sigs not being scannable? I ran into that the other night.. I think I may have it on video as well, if not I'll try one later today when I'm doing some recording and streaming to see if it was a bug.

E: Someone above has the issue as well, it's only for Odyssey Bio sigs not for horizons, brain tree's are still sampleable.
 
Your mission providers looks ugly after update ... They dont have eyebrows and skin texture is really bad on them. Can you notice?
 
Hey Malic! We intend to reduce the weights, it just didn't fit into the patch this time round.
Thanks for the update, those weights were killing my jump range on my ships and if they were parsed wrong (where 65 was supposed to be 6.5) then I might even be changing my primary science ship because now it can do things
 
i look forward to 9.02 when the limpet mass issue is corrected. Though given the holiday season, i guess that's just gonna wait until update 10


Well, that's not really gamebreaking

I'd rather see a fix for Exobiology, Hostile Ships and Dead people in the settlements preventing certain actions
Those are rather game-breaking to remain as is for like 3-4 weeks

It's not only that.. Sometimes enemy ships don't fire at all on you. Also it appears to work sometimes, as I've seen wings with 3 ships all showing red on the radar. A lot around combat seems broken due to this bug. I'd say it's a high priority issue and merits another hotfix in the next few days. It'd be sad if pewpew was broken for many weeks..!

No news as such, but we are aware of this issue.
This is literally game breaking for me. I cannot play until it is fixed, as I am over 20,000Ly from anywhere scanning Biological life. If one of the new professions introduced in Odyssey is not working, should it not be a top priority? To not even include it in the list make me very concerned that I won't be playing over the holiday period at all.
