Windows 10 Spyware
That's really worrying to hear. You have to ask yourself why a big company like MS is giving away something for free that could make them a fortune? I googled Windows 10 when I got suspicious that it was offered for free and found lots of concerns over MS ability to spy on everything you do through Windows 10 and that you consent to this in the agreement. Apparently not even private folders are exempt. I didn't know I had to keep an eye on it upgrading without my consent though thanks for the warning!
Really looking forward to the patch though. I just started using 0.8 SDK through Steam VR and the difference was fantastic. If I can get SLI up and running again too then things should be even better. Very pleased to see the continuing support for VR from Frontier.

So the usual "overly optimistic" 2 hour update is in fact (as more usual) a 5Hr + update.

Why not just say "Update on the way, servers off at 10AM GMT and will be back as soon as we are able. May take up to 8 hours, but we will work as fast as we can folks."

*nod* yep, can't argue with that, although I personally prefer the younger Islays, oddly. Laphroaig Quarter Cask is generally my go-to dram of choice.
Luckily, living in Scotland as I do it's quite easy to obtain.
I want to judge you, I really do. But having recently done something similar with respect to babylon 5, I find I cannot.

I've essentially spent the last 18 months ripping and encoding (to h264) all of my DVDs and Blurays, for storage on a NAS and playback on WD Live TV boxes - sort of my own curated Netflix. Oh, and I'm doing artwork for every file.
I'm fairly sure I used to have a life...
