I kind of miss the Kickstarter a bit, I miss Lars and his optimism, I wonder if he's still sleeping after being awake for the entire KS campaign?!

Yes, Lars was the Kickstarter King for sure. I don't think that he ever went to bed. Every time I logged on he was always there.
I am sure that there will be an update very soon. Its about this time of year that games companies release official game trailers for the next years release. So it wouldn't surprise me if FD are working on an official game trailer - which would take some time to put together.
EA are going to announce Sims 4 on August 20th
